Today I was on IMDB and looked up Halo 5 out of curiosity to see if anything new was listed, and in the Cast section I saw the following entries alongside Steve Downes as the Master Chief:
- Keith Szarabajka as the Didact
- Jenna Berman as Kelly-087
- Tony Giroux as Fred-104
As you can imagine, I was really surprised. Does anyone know what source this might have come from? Is this from an official report or just some IMDB user taking wild guesses?
If this is real, it’ll be amazing to have Fred and Kelly on board for Halo 5. Maybe they could be playable in Co-op for the main campaign?..
A note to moderators- I’m not trying to spread rumors or troll about leaks, just checking to see if anyone else can confirm what I saw about Halo 5.

Although IMDB is generally a reliable source… I would only take this with a very small grain of salt… nothing has even been announced or confirmed about the title of said Halo Xbox One game… let alone the campaign, characters, enemies etc. Probably just speculation… good find though.
I wouldn’t read too much into it. I think that whoever did this threw it together at random. Both Kelly and Fred’s voice actors are the actual actors they used in Forward Unto Dawn for those roles. Maybe Too young for a 2558 versions of those characters, unless they do the motion capture?
The only thing that stood out to me was Chant To Green. Whoever made this list must have speculated that We will meet the Current LifeShaper.

Never trust IMDB. Like ever, unless you can verify it; they are plagued with trolls. That was the website that had some rapper listed as the voice of Chief in Halo 4 for several months.

Yeah, I kind of assumed the information was suspect.
I had noticed the Forward Unto Dawn connection, which could either confirm this as false (the list writer just used actors he already knew had played Fred and Kelly), or it could confirm this as true (343i opted to keep the same actors).
I hate the months leading up to E3… The suspense is so annoying.

And it also said Martin O’donnell was the doing the music.

Really? I’ve never had this problem before…the only time they had given inaccurate information (to my knowledge) was when they listed Patrick Stewart as a Russian general in Die Hard 5, but then the word “rumoured” was written next to his name, so i guess its not really a big deal. On the other hand, they had listed Liam Neeson on the cast for The Dark Knight Rises, before such information was made official, and it was right, albeit he had a very small role.
I’d give it a 12% chance of being true, but with the likely absence of Cortana in future Halos I was wondering if they would bring in the Spartans to fill the void and this could confirm it
I don’t think Fred or Kelly will in it, and I wouldn’t really consider that a reliable source. The Didact, however, I would be surprised if he WASN’T in the next game. I don’t think he’s dead at all.
If you also look at the IMDb site, the storyline description is a false description as said by Microsoft.
I’ve got a pic of me editing the Halo 5 IMDB page. This just shows that anyone can do this. Don’t not believe what people are saying until there is confirmation from 343.
