Yes I was shocked when I came to this revelation myself. In recent weeks all the clues have come together and now it’s simply irrefutable. Everybody knows of The Little Moa here on Waypoint, yet we know have been introduced to a new member, The Massive Moa. What is the significance?
Greg Bear’s revelation that there are TWO Didacts. Yes, two Moas, two Didacts. Examine the Didact’s helmet, here, seems oddly BIRD-like am I right? Also, isn’t it odd that on Reach, a Forerunner world at one point, we find Forerunner artifacts and Moas? Also, Earth had Moas too and Earth was important to the Forerunners. The Crpytum in teh Halo 4 trailer also looks like an egg.
It’s obvious that the Didact and his Moas forces are displeased at the genocide of the Moas on reach and Earth and are now seeking vengeance.

You just blew my mind. See I was suspicious of this when I welcomed A Massive Moa and even more suspicious when A Little Moa welcomed him. Its all making sense now! The Moa revolution is upon us!

Also notice how The Little Moa, the man you see in almost every thread, has not made an appearance or his new apprentice The Massive Moa. I think you hit the nail on the head.

Also, has anyone noticed how the Librarian’s symbol looks kind of like a steering wheel? And we all know what BS Angel (a prominent member of 343 Industries)'s Warthog driving skills are. This proves that the Librarian will show up AND ACCIDENTALLY KILL THE DIDACT!

Now that seems like the logical route based on our current information. But recall the E3 demo and at the end the Didacts symbol was flipped. So clearly, that me ands that the didact wasn’t actually killed, but instead he is revived by a local Moa and TURNS EVIL. Thats why it flips and is red. Who wouldn’t turn evil after your wife ran you over and left you for dead and a local bird saved your life…
