I don’t see anyone mentioning him… Am I the only one who loved this antagonist, he was a solid villain and wasn’t technically killed off so what do you guys think about him returning in Infinite?

Did they? I just watched a video saying he didn’t die at the end of halo 4 and was teleported to a halo ring, he has so much potential they need to bring him back
They killed him off in halo escalations. Chief and blue team detached a section of a halo with him on it and destroying the composers forge and the 5 composers, while the didact was disintegrated by the over lapping pulses

I wish they would honestly the Forerunners have such a huge impact on the overlying story of halo and having the Didact return in the midst of the created uprising as well as the banished taking hold would be spectacular. But i think 343 is just going to write that off with since everything that happened in escalations. Im hoping the halo were on in infinite is Zeta halo which is where the timeless one was held during the Forerunner flood war
The didact is not dead. He was “digitized”, it is not known exactly what happened to him when this happened to him. But he is definitely not dead.
