If there were other better quality examples of the engine they would have posted them in the write up with the demo to show off the difference in the capabilities of the SX and PC as opposed to the One. Increased graphical quality would help push the GamePass sales for PC and SX pre orders.

First impressions are important, but second impressions are arguably just as vital, as they can be the true make-or-break. Hopefully the next we see of the game looks better than this demo.

I’m deff hoping that there will be a lot more to come out and something that hooks me, I just kinda get this sense that things are being rushed. I wouldn’t mind if they pushed both the console and game release a year, and cut the One from the lineup.

> it has nothing to do with the one…come on man. u think the one made the series x have pop in lol. its as simple as in a pandemic its hard to make a game. when u studio is shut down. its that simple. it was notging there that was held back other tgen not having the time to polish thats it.
What are you even trying to say? That’s a terrible response to my point. The game will be limited in terms of potential because it will be playable across 3 different platforms( One,XSX,PC) and 2 generations (One/ XSX). This is the same thing with Destiny, and every cross gen game, as all are limited by the oldest platform that it is released on. I’m sure that there are plenty of great things that got cut in order for the game to play on the One that they wanted in and could given time. Also how is stating that delaying the game and console for more time to work on it, not taking into account the difficulties of creating something during a pandemic?
If you’re going to bring up the pandemic and use that as an excuse for what we saw, I will bring up that they are also planning on raising the price of games, the removal of the year pass, the pushing of the Game Pass and a new console during historic unemployment numbers in their major markets. Even from a sales standpoint it’s a poor time to push a new console, and if you are, you better make sure the titles aren’t underwhelming and show off the power difference to justify the added costs.
Let’s also not forget that Microsoft has been running all sorts of commercials about how they are the “best at keeping people connected” “The Cloud” and “all the amazing things that can be done with Microsoft to overcome the problems of the pandemic with Microsoft.” So this whole “no one knows the problems of the pandemic” stuff is pretty lame. Everyone knows the problems of it, even if it’s just a small problem they’re facing.
