Maybe one day all our complaints will fall on someone’s ears who listen. After months though, I must admit, the hope on my end is dwindling away. I try different scenarios everytime I think about Watchdog, on why they chose to do us this way. I cannot put reasoning behind it though. There’s so few of us that got it, could it really be as simple as the loss of in store purchases from us, if the reward was too cool to want something else? I really don’t think so, but that’s the only one that makes sense to me. Which would’ve been easily solved by a unique body effect, or say black head flames. We’d still buy skins, etc. Idk, it just is a headache trying to figure out why, like literally why do it to the most loyal people you have, everytime I think of a reason that makes the slightest bit of sense, I pair it with why do it to the loyalists, and it then makes it not make sense again 
It’s like trying to figure out time travel, one paradox opens 3 more paradoxes…
The Dark Side of 343 industries (They don't care about Achievement and Progression System eg: SR152)
Hey, This post was locked for a while bcoz of some issue but its back. I hope everyone would keep this post up until this issue gets resolved. Ans Share your experience that you had to go through as well.
I don’t understand your post… It’s not very coherent.
This could probably be solved if they allowed us to alter the amount of “dirt” was on our Spartans. I’d go with at least 5 options total from super clean models like the HCE Team Spartans, lil dirty, dirty, really dirty ( what I consider it at now ) and maybe an option where there’s mud on sections of the legs like they had been playing in the rain all night long.
This looks like they were working with a cleaner model ( what I’d consider a 2 or 3 ) above when they originally showed off the coating, and then they filtered in the dirt that practically all coatings have now and that’s why it looks like it is in game like that.
Weapon Coatings at least look nice from what I’ve seen. But hope we can get more then that going foward…
Long story short, look at the Watchdog coating we were given for playing Halo 5 for 50 days of in game time, or around 10000 games rather, VERSUS any coating you can buy for 10 bucks. See which ones look actually special, or the slightest bit even cool.
I agree that it would at least make it look like the shown reward. Hindsight is 20/20, but at the time of even seeing that Watchdog reward rendering. I wasn’t thinking they’d have 20 much more special looking skins available in the shop on day 1, then throw in the campaign earnable ones, all of which look more rare, then throw in every other daily store item that is a better reward. I wish I could go back 3 years, and inform the trolling to my day 1 of grind self lol… It’s really epic if you think about it…
The Fact that a 10$ from Halo Infinite shop looks better than SR152 watchdog skin (Achievement) looks better than is absolutely ridiculous because the AMOUNT OF TIME, ENERGY AND MONEY PEOPLE PUT ON HALO 5 TO GET 152 IS TREMENDIOUS (HALO 5 BOOSTERS/GUNS/VEHICLE/POWER UPS WERE BEHIND A PAY WAY, ESPECIALLY THE LEGENDARY BOOSTERS. THEY PUT IT IN A 5 $ PACKS). But man i really hope they would fix these issues soon. Everyone has been waiting for so long for this to be fixed. And SR152 is the most difficult achievement to earn for Halo Infinite.

Dude, they obviously just don’t care. They won’t even talk to us other than about things that either don’t matter or they lie about because they are clueless. It is time to give up until they can actually prove themselves. It is why these pathetic mods hand out all these pathetic and worthless bans you can get around in 30 seconds. We had a nearly perfect Halo game but these incompetent fools had to fumble the dang ball at the one yard line.
Well, it seems yet another perfect 152 reward opportunity passed up, in way of the Mohawk with the cyber event.

I get that time is needed, and there’s a list of priorities, of which Watchdog would be probably dead last. That being said, here’s my thinking. Let me bend your ear, you cool cats, and kittens.
When Infinite was in development, it had to have some skins at a certain point, say a couple dozen. I am now at the belief, that Watchdog was one of those, and was probably never once picked by a single person playing the demo. Now that may be far fetched, so try this one on for size.
Prior to releasing Infinite, at the very least, there had to be a story board, for the outline of what these events would be, and to spitball ideas for rewards. As well as items to sell in the store. There’s no way, not a single possibility in any alternative timeline, that someone looked at the Watchdog skin, verses say that Mohawk, or any of the other 6 dozen cooler/ slightest bit standing out store items, then said “Well fellas, we did it, a worthy reward”. If anyone did speak up, were they just ignored?
Now I have stayed loyal to the franchise for 20 years, I played Xbox, just for Halo. I love Halo, I love 343, loved Bungie as well. I think Infinite is great, guardians forbid you say anything negative. Therein, the problem for me is, I have never left, when all my RL friends moved to COD, I stayed. When all my xbl friends list moved to COD, I stayed. This single “reward”, has made me not play Halo in a month, nor have I bought anymore credits for the store. If the goal was to keep us buying, it didn’t succeed for me personally. In fact, it single handedly resulted in me venturing to COD WZ, and playing with my remaining XBL playing friends.
With that said, ignore the 20 years bit, the loyalty, that’s irrelevant to the reward. If that reward is seen as worthy, for the H5 grind alone, I’m truly at a loss of words lol!
I’m 152 in H5. It cost me nothing except the original cost of the game.
I also, for some reason, didn’t get the WatchDog armour in Infinite. If the game was better, I’d probably care.
Oh it cost me nothing but my time, which to me, is the most valuable asset any human has, I thought that was a universal thought, but apparently it’s worth exactly as much as the single worst skin Infinite has to offer, oops. Alot of people, including the OP, bought the xp boosts, it really sucks.
I loved Infinite, but I’d be lying if I said you’re missing out, by not being able to claim your reward. There’s no reason why it shouldn’t come up for you though, have you tried what it says to do on the forum, to get it to unlock?
Unlock? You unlock it be being SR152 in H5. It doesn’t even show up for me.

Once there, go to redeem code, then history, check your redeem history, it will be on there. I think it’s Guardians Bounty or something. It will have today’s date on it I think, mine had the day I viewed my history’s date on it. Once you go to history, it’ll automatically unlock, you don’t have to do anything else, except restart Halo Infinite, and Watchdog will now be in your coatings.
Be sure to read the coating titles, or else you will miss it

People spent money due to Legendary Xp packs on halo 5. Thats y more of my friends are pissed off. I made this post after i consulted every one who grinded. Most of them said they paid for xp packs (7/10 people).
Holy heck that was hilarious. Painful though. Hope you guys get a bone. If I were 343, I’d definitely do something a little extra.
