Trust me I get it how you feel since max rank on Halo Reach/H4/H5/HW1 and I’m aiming for MCC max rank but yeh it is a bit ridiculous how poorly this has been handled by 343i.

im honestly just glad that everyone is expressing their concerns with this. Maybe they will go in and fix it since so many of us are complaining about it. I really hope so and its such an easy fix. I want to be a damn storm trooper with a red visor.

I think the worst part is that they showed one thing and gave us another. If they had not shown that preview, I would not have cared.
I will be wearing Scorpion Punch anyway. ONI Scorpion got me 4-300+ kill games and at least 3-200 kill rounds. I have got to honor that! I hope thete is a tank coating too, even if ot is in the shop!

I do heavily agree with this. The skin shown before the game release is different from the one we got for reaching 152 in H5. Now 343 (if you’re reading this and the other replies) we know you are trying your absolute best with the game, and we all enjoy it. We would just want to see the 152 armour look more like the weapon coatings, please.

Is it me or there’s a new AR skin in the store that looks pretty similar to the Watchdog (the skin you get for the 152) one? This is pretty lame, even worse than what they did with the Helioskrill back in h5

So the token of appreciation for a big middle finger? I’ve wasted something like 60 days of playtime (thank god I’ ve never spent a cent on req packs) when I should have waited to get pretty similar items in the store…noice

That sucks if it’s true. I think that emblem is the only distinguishable stand out item we have (besides the gun skins and the bland armor coating) that shows that we reached 152 
. Still grateful we got something though
343 laughing at us its just a way to say to us: stop playing. Not only that but the entire social side of the community ignores it. I wouldnt be surprised if they do it to lick 343’s boots.
Btw, grateful my -Yoink!-, the reward was supposed to make up for the disaster in H5, guess how things turned out.

While I totally understand your frustration and disappointment. I don’t agree with you saying they “forced” people to buy req packs to rank up. The only money I had invested in Halo 5 was the initial cost for the game itself. I hit rank 148 through my time playing and never spent a dime. I’m sure there are a bunch of 152’s out there who didn’t spend anything. Sure it made the grind longer, but no one was forced to pay. I sympathize and have nothing but respect for anyone who made it to 152. I do hope they fix your reward.

My Hubby did the same thing, unlocked everything and didn’t buy a single REQ pack, just used RP points earned in game. I have just started and will be doing the same thing

(And yes ur right about people who didn’t spend a single dime, thats me. but i made this post after consulting everyone’s issues on my SR152 discord group. Its not a personal forum. it address everyone. we might be the only 5 to 10 percent of people who hasn’t spent any money on Halo 5 but the rest 90 to 95 percent did)

I personally didn’t spend anything money wise getting to sr152. That being said, the hours alone spent getting it, behind paid 10 bucks an hour, would’ve netted me over 100 grand. I’ll be the first to admit, I didn’t, nor do I now, like Halo 5. I played for the express purpose of getting to 152 after the announcement. My first game was 1-1-2019, and I’ve played Halo since the midnight release of CE. Prior to that, I played a few games of H5 at my buddies house, and it just wasn’t for me. I don’t trash talk H5, I just personally don’t like it. The bothersome thing to me is, how a 10 dollar skin in the store, stands out more than something people gave month’s of IN GAME compiled time to obtain. I love Infinite, but this leaves me so jaded, that idk what to do. Like I will pay for the actual shown sr152 reward if need be, just name the price…
I just, same as the op, would like to know if it’s been a known issue, like an acknowledgement that it’s not well received. Will it be fixed? Is this it? I know there’s many other things that would be in line to fix in front of it, just officially, is anything going to be done?

I’m one that got to 152 and the skin they showed us looks nothing like what we were promised. The guns look amazing but the armor looks like my two year old son found my Spartan armor and started painting on it.

It definitely needs answered. Like how do you get the guns right and not the armor? Maybe they messed up the color wheel for the armor and didn’t put the colors in the right spot? I dunno but I’ll never grind to 152 or put that much time into Halo again for some broken promise.

I agree the gun skins look amazing, but again, look just a slight variant different than one available in the store. I really don’t understand why red is in the color scheme at all for a Spartan, since every red schemed weapon/ color, indicates covenant/ the banished in every Halo, Infinite included. Like why not make the whole coating shiney chrome, or Cortana Blue, or jet black, or shiney black, or just do a flame exclusive head, or literally 10000 other things could’ve been done that looks amazing, that noone could mistake for a stock skin
