They are trying to play it out like its nothing, but man oh man. If they dont fix it and compensate for it. You can bet your -Yoink!- we are going to make it the worst time for them.
We’ve been patient enough and it appears tranquile conversations is not the way to get 343 to understand.
I think it’ll never be fixed, and be like reaching 152 in h5, with how people didn’t like the reward, with the emblem, giving boosts after max level, etc. This was to make up for that, and reward us “that reached 152 with a small token”. Therefore, in 10 years, at release of the next game, you’ll need to grind tf out of Infinite, to get something done, to be rewarded in that next game, AND make up for the Watchdog reward, that’s my guess.

That’s what I thought too, but all these months later, I 100% with all my being, believe they honestly just don’t care, like at all. It’s like they care an extreme amount, in the amount they don’t care. Like alot of thought, organization, and resources, we’re put into not caring on the scale they do

Oh most certainly they have, because they’re required to look at the boards, to work at not caring on the level they do.
Since the player base has dropped 95% since launch, the quick mt cash grab would be cut by 95% too. Now say only ¼ the sr152 people quit infinite, which is generous I believe, that’d be around 500 people. As that player base continues to drop, what was once a small percentage of us not playing, is now 10-20% of daily player base, where that MT money would have still been coming from.
Now, say they fix the original problem, something that should’ve taken a day at most mind you, by making Watchdog it the ugly Chrome it was even in the previews, but at least unique looking. Awesome, but now it 95% doesn’t matter, due to population drop, you only have 1 release hype train to ride, and that ride has ended. Now it’s created a whole separate problem at this point, how do you even make up for that? Why should it have been a problem in the first place? Why is a 1hr players value, more than us hardcore players? It makes no sense…

I’m very pleasantly surprised they actually acknowledged the Watchdog controversy. Not only the armor, but also how the HCS Winter weapon skins look too similar, as well.
I also didn’t even know the Red Shift armor coating looks different. I have no complaints on that because I think the coating currently looks awesome. lol
I just read it in the update and immediately came here. I’m so glad they acknowledged this with a desire to make it right. This gives me hope and I’m looking forward to that eventual update. Virtual hugs for all my 152 brothers and sisters

They claimed. I’d take it with a ‘pinch of salt’ at the moment. I hope they do what they claim but at the moment after they mislead us about the progression system I don’t know if I believe them at the moment.

You were right, not only is whats basically a copy of the promised watchdogs in the BP, the backdrop that was on the files, most likely part of the rewards originally is also now part of the free BP. We shouldnt have trusted 343 at all.
