The Dark Side of 343 industries (They don't care about Achievement and Progression System eg: SR152)

Yeah, it is indeed. I am now coincidentally having to have my posts approved by a moderator, fun…

Wait really? As in they need to see it before it becomes public?

Did 343 acknowledge and address this yet, did I miss it?

343 is full of scams

Yes sir, it was on a different topic, but even so, huge coincidence, NOT. -Borat

They did say “We’re aware, and appreciate our loyalty, NOT.” -Borat lol, sorry I was already on a Borat roll :joy:
According to current timeline, the acknowledgement, and all that, will come sometime after this 10 year halo plan ends. Here’s to 2032…

I mean Infinite sure is, and the Watchdog reward itself is. As much I adore(d) 343, I’ll not argue against a long list of scams that’s been pointed out on forums alone. The kicker is 90% of them, are all skins :joy::joy:, like why, why stab people in the back that support you!?

That sucks man, hopefully afte this hustke we do get compensated.

Lol. We got gaslighted and ghosted by 343

Thats what the “GG”, means

Yeah I believe 343i would tell us playing their “game” is compensation. may even slap on some 2x XP boosts.

Very nice abbreviation sir :joy:

I have no doubt, as common sense would dictate, that’s also what you put in the Halo 5 152 reward box, xp boost, when no further levels can be obtained :joy:
I’d say the person(s) who thought of that, are the same ones that decided the worst skin on Infinite, should be given as the Watchdog reward, and to take it up a notch to 11, put the bland af 152 emblem from 5 in the Watchdog reward, as the metaphorical troll cherry on top.

Our main compensation is the hypothetical knife in the back. I’ve displayed mine on my minds mantle. Well that, and in my case, saving me hundreds already by not pumping money into in game, or Halo merch.
Insert insurance sales commercial
“I saved hundreds by switching to COD: Warzone”
As vomit enducing in my mouth as that sounds

OH AND GUESS WHAT
I didn’t have to spend a year 10 hours a day to get a cosmetic, to be deemed pointless, because the store from day 1 has had 117x’s cooler items, making any reward pointless. So there’s that :person_shrugging:

Just thought of something. Dunno how feasible this is as a 343 excuse for the bait and switch, but could they be worried someone will sell watchdog to a completionist, or whale?

Why would they care? As in someone still had to grind to reach the rank no matter what.

The reason i thought of this was all the smurf accounts back in the day boosting to hit 50 in halo 3 so they could sell the username.
That was actually a thing.
I dont follow other free to play games, so i have no idea if similar shenanigans would happen with infinite.

Still, it makes no sense to do so and the HCS middle finger they gave us.

I know. And i didnt even care it was the wrong colors, lol.
What did it was the giveaway.
343 keeps doing stuff like this, and imo its paramount you dont screw your most hardcore players for the sake of community relations. Gaslighting and then ghosting the 152s is a sure way to get hated.
I heard about helioskrill when i actually started playing halo 5.
I never thought they could do something like that again, but hey, they defied my expectations i guess, lol.

Oh they most definitely were for sale, on playerup.com, and a handful of others. I looked during my grind, and the few I seen posted for sale was over a grand. I wouldn’t sell mine due to my gamerscore, and history behind it. Hindsight is 20/20, but for those that did, well played. I wouldn’t grind that again for a 10k profit. If it was halo 2, I’d do it for free, 5, never again. I never played a single game after hitting 152, and never will…
I seriously doubt that’s the reason though.

I remember people trying to sell level 50’s from Halo 3. Wow how the times have changed.

Oh yeah, there was many bought 50’s. Now days, the high selling gt’s are short ones, like 4 letter tags, ex. Dead, Cat, Dog, Bob, Don, Adam. Those go for thousands. So do high gamerscore accounts, or even just accounts that are old, where people want a 17 year old account, etc. At this point, I wish I hit 152 on a separate account, and sold it in 2019. I could’ve at least bought 1-2k worth of ice cream, to eat out of the tub, and mourn all night, at the heartbreak this caused me.

Does the player behaviour get tracked from 343?

I checked the daily shop in Infinite. Almost bought the sand color armor coating. But didn’t like the black spot around the shin. I was 2 minutes online.

And then I played warzone firefight in Halo 5 for 3 hours.

That’s why it’s important to keep it going, they may not respond, or care (due to your actions 343, not our fault). The more players see, the more the problem is known, and keeps the problem alive.

Give them 5 hours, there’ll be one in the store without the black spot around the shin
For real though, I’m sure they track all data. Unless of course you want a comprehensive game history, like we had access to since 2005, somehow with all the technology available, we have regressed in that regard, lolllllllll
