Why exactly is there a daily XP cap on the game? From what I understand it has to do with the whole Double XP thing with Mountain Dew and Doritos, and I understand the reasoning behind it. Though what I don’t understand is why, in a 24 hour period, you can only gain about 100k XP? Is there something I am missing here?
I play from one midnight to the next an average of about 8-10 hours, so if yesterday was any indication I will be getting XP capped every single day. Why implement something which keeps people from playing the game? Sure, you can play the game 24/7 and not ever need to stop, but why if you are missing out on so much XP? Why not limit the number of Double XP tokens which can be used within this 24 hour period?
What happens later in the game when you are unlocking challenges worth 2500-5000 points each? I have noticed that with the amount of XP you get from the gameplay itself, minus commendations, is about 2500 so you can play around 35 games or so a day. At higher levels you unlock more XP, commendations which are worth more, and in return able to play less. Unless commendations XP doesnt count towards the cap, in which case that entire point is null.
Other than minor issues with the multiplayer and story line, this is only major problem I see with this game. Many people get fun from the game by simply playing it, and that is fine, but many people also only get fun by playing it and leveling up. I am one of the latter.
To put it simply, I think that the XP cap is just about the most stupid thing I have ever seen in a game.
