Look at this Screenshot of Master Chief engaging the Cryptum. Scrutinize the ground under Master Chief’s feet. You can see the symbol (which many believe belongs to the Didact)shown at the end of the E3 2012 trailer.
i made a thread about this a few months ago, but nobody saw due to hate threads, but yeah i think its proof that its the didact

Thats not the Didact’s. The one on the left is, but not the one on the right. However, with the recent knowsledge of the Ur-Didact(Original Didact), that now means there’s 2 Didact’s(Confirmed at least). So each symbol belongs to one of them, but which to who?
Honestly i dont think that its the Ur-didact, i think it will be bornstellar didact and if anything hes just going crazy or something because he’s tired of the didact influence and is looking for himself.
but thats just what i think because it would leave it open that Ur-didact is still out there in the background or something.
but its just a thought, although its a very interesting photo and find. hopefully we’ll know soon, being everyone is saying we’ll know on the 14th in 2 days in comic con.

I havn’t heard any saying anything about the 14th.

San Diego Comic Con. There is going to be a Halo 4 panel, and more then likely more info revealed. I think that is what he is getting at with the 14th.

Could be easily answered. The first Didact symbol was shown in the Halo 3 terminals. Taking into account ‘that the Ur-Didact and the Librarian’ hold the keys to salvation and that ‘one of them must commit the greatest atrocity of all time’, it is likely that the blue version belongs to the Ur-Didact and the red one to the other.
It’s confusing to have two Didacts … I don’t like it.

well its there and I’ve seen it confirmed in other topics cant remember which. but it adds to the story and i do like it.

Well, we don’t know if the Didact is alive. It was only hinted in the terminals saying that he would go on their Great Journey alone.
You know i thought about this last night,
what if the didact is the one controlling all these forrunners and such? okay cool so what, but he still looks at the chief as the re claimer so what if the Didact is actually testing chief with all of this stuff to make chief ready for the “ancient evil that’s awakening” no one said the Didact was actually “that ancient evil” i mean the forerunners look down on humans but they don’t really hate each other necessarily they just had an old war… so what if the ancient evil is actually the precursor? it sort of makes sense being chief is getting ready to go to war in the end of the game! the Didact has been testing chief to make sure he is the true re claimer and then when chief gets to him or something the Didact may point chief to the precursor…
so how about that?
yes i know in the mini series after the events of halo4 it shows us still fighting forerunner tech. and no i don’t really have an answer for that yet…
EDIT:Also upon reading another post the forerunner could be attacking because of a set command and the mini series is not always going to be on requiem so maby theyre attacking us because were still there and its in thier code?

Me too. It would be too obvious if it was the Didact. I have a theory, but I’m going to wait until Halo 4 comes out.
