Hey for all those people who purchased the latest DLC (Crimson Map Pack) this is a guide to getting the Crimson achievements. BEWARE some achievements may make you RAGE!
1.David and Goliath: Now running blindly at an enemy mantis is stupid, and don,t try to sneak up the mantis because most likely they’ll see you on their radar. The enemy mantis is easy to take down as long as you have a plasma pistol, stay in cover and stun the mantis, after the first stun continue to stun, if they eject then wait for them to get back in and this achievement is yours.
2.Pump Yer Brakes: Most likely you’ll get this achievement while getting David and Goliath but if you didn’t then try using the Incineration Cannon, Rocket launcher, another Mantis, or the plasma pistol and plasma grenade combo.
3.Size is Everything: Pretty simple just go grab yourself a chain gun and get kills. However its a lot easier if you have the Gunner Mod from the Pathfinder Specialization and Speed Boost or Damage Boost.
4.BigFoot: Now this achievement takes time so don’t walk around in the Mantis trying to stomp all the time, when infantry are trying to get to you make sure that your Mantises feet are point towards the enemy and stomp ( its not like the campaign were you could stomp and hit enemies behind you. A nice specialization to have is the Wheelman Mod from the Operator specialization.
5.Now They Fly? : This achievement is the hardest achievement to achieve. Most say its pure luck but if you have a rocket launcher then its just a matter of if you can hit the enemy, and if you’re feeling special then pick up a sniper rifle and go for that snapshot.
6.ODST : One of many ironic achievements is this one reverting to an a UNSC group the ODST who for reasons unknown didn’t appear in Halo 4. Anyways this achievement is possible on Harvest and Wreckage however way easier on Wreckage so grab a rocket launcher find a gravity lift and go, search for your enemy and fire this achievement is probably the easiest.
7.Clay Pigeon : Shooting the enemy while they go off of the gravity lift is simple enough however if you camp at the end of the line with a Shotgun or Scattershot then it’s only a matter of time. Here’s a tip, use cover the enemy is still going to fire at you.
8.Special Delivery : Another Gravity lift achievement, however this one is a little different you have to get a melee kill while landing from the lift an easy way to do this is grab an energy sword or hammer and go off the lift. If you want a challenge then get a game of oddball or capture the flag and go off the lift.
(If you play normally then achievements 6-8 may glitch for you which I still can’t figure out why since I did them legit without the glitches.)

I jumped on an enemy mantis but i did not get the achievement… weird.
I stomped 22 people in the Mantis and my Ach. still hasn’t popped.
Some of the achievements (Man Cannon ones) are gltiched.
I got all those, the legit way, no boosting. This one just befuddles me. I’ll keep stomping away…
I some how got the Special Delivery one while playing King of the Hill on Harvest. Some achievements are glitched.
Remember you can only get these achievements on the Crimson DLC
