Name: Shock-wave shield
Faction: Promethean
Description: Looks kinda like a combination between a suppressor and a storm rifle, although that’s not hugely important. What is is that when activated, it throws out a hardlight shield, except its a different color. When deactivated or when it breaks, it sends out a shock-wave that deals damage proportional to the damage it received. This would be a “power weapon”.
Stats: The shield can last for up to 20 seconds, and can be lowered at any time, cancelling the shield, activating the shock-wave, and stopping the energy drain on the ammo. The shock-wave is sent out 15-20 meters and deals 25% of the damage received. Once deactivated, there is a 10 second cooldown until it can be used again.
Lore: once it became apparent that the flood could use their own weapons against them, the forerunners developed the shock-wave shield, allowing lone soldiers to take on many flood at once.
Description (Canonical included):
As the Storm Covenant and Jul M’Dama continued the ongoing conflict with the Infinity on Requiem, a small group of Sangheili dedicated themselves to researching old prototypes and applying newly uncovered Forerunner technology given by the Didact essentially compiling into an enhanced Plasma Repeater. It looks noticeably different to it’s aged counter-part mainly due to it’s neon-blue pulsing markings and the new glossy dark purple coating acquitted with modern Covenant weapons. It has an active ability to engage into an ‘overcharge’ mode that allows it to nearly double it’s damage and fire-rate at a huge cost to it’s power supply.
Statistics: RoF: Roughly 600 rounds per minute (1200 rounds per minute when in overcharge)
Lethality: Killtime of 1.25 seconds killing in 14 shots in regular use. During overcharge the Storm Repeater has a killtime of 1 second and kills in 8 shots at a cost of 50% of it’s battery.
Optimal Ranges: Close-mid range weapon given a 1.5x scope.

Description:
a 5-barreled, lightweight Minigun system designed to suppress the flood from a greater distance than the Flamethrower, it was held back due to it’s necessity of specialist Marines, and it’s heavier weight when compared to lighter Infantry weapons. Utilizing 6.84x50 ml rounds and opted to fit specialized “Gunner” Marines, the LAAS fires lightweight rounds at a whooping 645 rounds per minute, perfect to suppress multiple, weak hostiles. The full set includes the two-handed Minigun (think a thinner version of the AIE-486H Machinegun from Halo 3 without the armor flaps) with ammo link to a backpack, providing up to 3,580 rounds.
a lighter-weight version (useable by Spartans) can be found that ustilises an ammo drum capable of storing 300-450 rounds.
Statistics:
RoF- 645 rpm
Killing power: requires ~15-20 rounds to kill a Spartan (remember, it has lightweight rounds, and is designed to combat infection forms)
Range: Medium, however, is inaccurate (used to suppress targets, not to damage them)

Description: Looks like a Mister Chief Doll, where his awesome yet creepy face creates a Tornado and releases a ray of sunshine when it dissipates. You fire by holding down the trigger, and it will continue until you release the trigger, lingering for a few seconds. Essentially, the user will stick a pin in the doll to create the tornado, kind of like a voodoo doll. ONLY FOUND IN THE CAMPAIGN!!!
Statistics: 1 Tornado that lasts as long as you hold the trigger. Takes .5 seconds to kill an enemy with it. Has a Bottomless Clip.

I knew it would only be a matter of time before that one showed up…
Description: The IMP-07 is a small, compact, and angular shaped weapon that was developed alongside the MJOLNIR Gen 2 armor set that is known as “Prefect”. It is a formidable weapon that displays the over-reliance, yet power, that results from adapting Forerunner Technology into designs.
Function: The IMP-07 has a primary fire mode that shoots ionized particles as fast as the trigger can be pulled. However, it has an additional burst-fire mode that will condense up two five rounds in a singe, and much more accuracte shot. For the sake of balance, of course, the burst-fire mode isn’t more damaging than the regular firemode - it’s just much (much) more accurate.

I honestly hope that someone at 343i makes the tornado gun an easter egg.
Description: Elongated sniper that’s reminiscent of promethean weaponry but silver/blue in color.
Statistics: Long range. 2 charges per clip and 10 charges in total (uses up one charge per shot). Primarily meant for disabling vehicles at a distance, when hit, a vehicle becomes temporarily disabled ( similar to overcharged pp shot but with a longer duration). If used against other players it would be able to drop shields in 1 shot but wouldn’t be able to kill unless all of the enemy’s shield is down.
It would mainly be used for objective gametypes as a weapon to control vehicle flow.
Name: Heavy Needler (Type-31 Guided Munitions Launcher/Heavy )
Faction: Covenant
Description: Basically a more powerful plasma launcher with a needler’s aesthetics and physical attributes, and an incineration cannon’s firing/reload/drawback style, in the Spartan Laser’ niche, only more effective against flying vehicles.
Statistics:ROF: 3 second lock-on; 4 second reload; about 12 RMP. Lethality: 1sk on impact, explosion damage + radius similar to plasma grenade; medium vehicle damage on impact, heavy vehicle damage on detonation. Magazine size: 1 round. Starting ammo: 5 rounds. Max ammo: 9 rounds. Effective range: Mid-long. Weapon Classification: Anti-vehicle power weapon.
Canonical Description: Utilized only early in the Human/Covenant war as a source of fast, portable, anti-vehicle firepower, it was phased out of service as use of the Fuel Rod Cannon became more widespread. However, like many old designs, it has since been salvaged and re-issued by Jul-Madama’s Covenant Remnant to compensate for the lack of modern technology at their disposal, and as a direct counter to the UNSC’s recently advancing aerospace fleet.
Name: M6I Personal Defence Weapon System (AutoMag)
Faction: UNSC
Description: essentially an automatic version of the Magnum
Statistics:
-ROF: 500 RPM when trigger held, same as M6H when tapping trigger
-5 shots to break shield, 3 to kill, head shot bonus with double damage when unshielded
-Capacity: 12 rounds, 60 reserve, can Resupply from standard Magnums
-Bloom: same as the M6H, with some vertical recoil.
-Range: same as unscoped M6H
Canonical Description: its listed in the Halo Encyclopaedia…there’s not much on it other than the fact that its automatic, fire the same ammunition as the other variants, and can have a detachable stock.
Description: Carbine variant of the Magnum with a smart-linked sight, detachable stock and 355mm barrel.
Statistics:
-ROF: Same as M395 DMR
-5 shots to break shields, headshot or 3 body shots to kill
-Capacity: 12 round magazine, 72 maximum reserve, can Resupply from standard Magnums or AutoMags.
-Bloom: less than the M6H
-Range: 5m less than the BR85
Canonical Description: Used by the UNSC Army in support roles alongside the MA37 and M7.
Name: TCR-274 ‘Tactical Combat Rifle’ (TCR) Faction: UNSC Description: A versatile, all rounder weapon capable of performing multiple roles on the Battlefield that no other weapon can do. It would look something like this: Stats: Six shot kill, Accuracy in between the BR and DMR, Higher ROF than the BR and DMR, Bloom is the least, but longer reset time means that it quickly builds up under sustained higher rates of fire. 48 round magazine, allowing for 12 four round bursts. Equipped with a variable scope capable of both two times and three times magnification, Canonical Description: Prototyped in 2552. Introduced into more Elite Spartan teams in 2557 and now beginning mass production as of late 2558, the TCR serves as a standard all round replacement for the BR85 HB Battle Rifle and M195 DMR, which were placed into more Specialised roles, it has been praised by units for its reliability and versatility and is a favourite amongst Spartans.
Name: SR-29 BA 'Bolt Action Sniper Rifle Faction: UNSC Description: A more accurate, anti-infantry version of the Anti-material (current) Sniper Rifle. Stats: Able to Kill infantry in 1 shot, but hardly able to do anything against vehicles. Has 6x to 12x zoom. 5 round magazine, but each round needs to be cycled into the chamber manually, leading to a slow rate of fire, this is coupled by a lengthy reload time and poor hip fire accuracy. Canonical Description: First Introduced in 2496, the SR-29 is considered a relic amongst the UNSC, it has since though found its way into the Insurrection and some Spartan units, where is accuracy and anti infantry capability has been favoured immensely, especially in the face of the Forerunner Binary Rifle.
Description:
The Liberator is a heavy weapon specifically designed against organic beings (infantry). It shoots a fast-traveling concentrated energy impulse wave that instantly disintegrates every organic being that it gets in contact with on its way. Using it against vehicles will disintegrate all occupants but will let the vehicle stay unaffected. The wave implodes when hitting hard non-organic surfaces.
Visual design: A Forerunner mixture between a turbine and a Rocket Launcher.

ROF: 4 sec charging, 1 shot, 2 sec cool down

Canonical Description:
Used and developed during the Forerunner-Flood War with the goal to disintegrate a large amount of organic targets and to ensure the elimination of every single infected cell or spore.
Description:
It’s a weapon that looks like a combination of crossbow and a fuel rod gun. It is orange and steel coloured and has 1 “bullet”. When shot it launches a massive blast of yellow-green bubble acid, killing all of the enemy team for good.
This weapon doesn’t give you kills and it is only in mp.
How it works is when you have won a team slayer match, one player (the best of the winning team) has a chance to finish the match with this gun. (Like 10 secs after your team has reached the magical 50 kills the best player gets Acid pulsenator and can shoot the shot and end the game with a blast.) If the player shoots with this gun, his own team will get an acid-proof west so they don’t die.
No one knows how this weapon has been created or who has created it. (it’s a mystery… wooo)
Sangheli have Energy Swords and Brutes have Gravity Hammers. I think the Forerunners and UNSC deserve their equivalent of a melee weapon. I always thought Halo melee should advance to a whole different level. Assassinations in Reach and H4 were a good step in this direction, but let’s throw in a few punch combos to make CQC really interesting. Nothing over the top, mind you, and nothing that takes longer than a handful of seconds. But I think this would be a great addition to Halo (And a big plus for small, CQ maps).
My proposals…
UNSC Combat Knuckles.
**Description:**Like brass knuckles, only not brass. And charged with electricity or some kind of gaus-like effect. Maybe hardlight, since now the UNSC have access to it. Stats Melee modifier, perhaps 2x damage of a standard melee. Canonical tie-in As part of Halo 5’s advanced hand to hand combat system
Forerunner Promethean Scythe. Description: A collapsible shaft that assembles itself when deployed, and a hardlight scythe blade at the end of it. Stats: As potent as an energy sword but slow to wield but with extra long range. Canonical tie-in Used by Forerunners to incinerate Flood at close quarters while maintaining a safe distance.
Description: Creates a vacuum/void which absorbs any and all energy/matter it is directed at. Eg. neutralises wraith mortar. Extracts multiple enemy shields. Absorbs grenade explosion force.
Statistics: Requires a two second charge and increases with power. Lasts max 4 seconds (after initial charge). Can be focused for long range but by default it has a short range and a wide radius.
Canonical Description: This ancient artifact scientists know is from the human-forerunner war, which side it belonged to is still debated. Research is being directed to reverse the gravitational pull to direct a captured projectile back at the enemy. All current efforts have resulted in detrimental outcomes.
Description: A solid beam (like sentinel beam / focus rifle) of red, white and black lightning forces atoms to decay. (Death effect: Character turns to dust)
Statistics: 20% damage per second
Canonical Description: Ancient-humans believed that this piece of technology would be able to stop the flood. The ancient humans lost the war before they were able to fully apply this technology. Maybe this weapon could hold the secret to defeating the Flood.
