The create you own.... Thread

Since Ive done various threads like this (the weapon ones being the surviving ones) i’ve decided to do it again with waypoint flowing with creative potential

Things to post here:

Weapon ideas
Vehicle ideas
Gamemode ideas
Medal ideas
Possibly map ideas
AA ideas (dont start)

If you are new to these kind of threads all that is needed is:

The things name
What it does
How it fits into halo
Related things-

Weapons: history, damage, weapon tier etc.
Vehicle: history, damage, armour, seating, role
Gamemode: scoring
Medals: icon and points and tier requirements
Maps: theme, weapon placement, general design, bases, player count, dynamic features if any
AAs: charge, duration etc.

Now unleash your creative abilities in this thread and enjoy yourself =]

Maps:
Encircled (sprial) by TheAssociateMan

AAs:

The needle cannon fires a giant needle that creates a large super combine explosion. Slightly more powerful than the rocket launcher but has a small smaller blast radius.

Map name: Encircled (working title)
Canonical description: originally a large Forerunner mine, this circular canyon was repurposed to preserve ancient structures.
theme: Delta Halo style stone Forerunner structures surrounded by a dense jungle forest with rivers running through.
weapon placement: sniper rifle at each base, rocket launcher in the center of the city. Idk what else.
general design/ bases: the map would be a massive circle shaped canyon. 2 Floating Forerunner bases opposite of each other would slowly rotate around the map near the canyon wall, accessible by flying vehicles, a gravity lift, and the occasional man cannon it passes by. Under the bases would be sparse trees. The next circle would be the dense jungle. Rivers that flow from the side of the canyon cut through the jungle, as do several paths, wide enough for 2 scorpions to pass each other. The central circle would be the Forerunner city. Here, the rivers turn into aqueducts. In half the city, the aqueducts are broken, so, players splash through knee-deep water. The other half of the city is dry. The city would promote close-quarters combat, and no vehicles can enter as the streets here are too tight.
player count: 16+ (if the player count is increased)
dynamic features: moving bases.

The “Challenger” medal. Basically this is a medal you get when you kill the enemy MVP of the leading team five times in a row. It looks like a skull king with a knife through it’s head.

Another idea I’ve cooked up: Patterned on-map Ordnance.

Basically, what happens is the on-map power weapons respawn by predictable patterns in different areas to make the game fresh. Take a map such as lockout; all three power weapons spawn where they would be by default. Then, once they respawn, rather than being in the same spot the shotty moves to the tower, sniper to the sword spawn, and sword to the gravity lift. Then once they respawn again, the sword is in the tower, the shotty at the sword and the sniper is at the lift. The next respawn brings all three to their default locations. Granted lockout is certainly not the best example of this pattern, but it’s followable.

What do you think?

Not sure if I’ve already mentioned but…

Gamemode:

Tug of War:
Two equal teams. Works like infection - once a player is killed, they join the other team. They can be killed and rejoin the other team again (and again etc.).
Game finishes when one team wins.

Player with most kills wins.
Medal for not changing teams at all.

I’ve already posted this idea (in one of my own threads about vehicle gameplay and in another current one) but because your last sentence askes for it so kindly your thread will get it as well. :stuck_out_tongue:

Vehicle:

Castor and Pollux – the inseparable twins
(Inspired by the Sentinels from the novel Ghosts of Onyx and the Greek mythology)

Faction: Forerunner

Castor and Pollux would be “light” armored and armed (Hardlight cannons), hovering, agile and fast moving vehicles that can only be occupied by a single person. They would be identical in their functions but would have slight differences in their aesthetics to differ which is Castor and which is Pollux (I explain the reason for that later).
So far, with exception of their aesthetical design, weaponry and possible unique maneuvers, they wouldn’t be so special in comparison to the already existing vehicles.
But here comes the twist!
The vehicles Castor and Pollux would always appear as a pair on the map (either 2 for each team or placed together or separately in fair locations) and like the Sentinels from Onyx they are able to unite with each other.
To unite Castor and Pollux they have to be occupied by players from the same team. Are both vehicles arranged in a close range to each other you are able send a request (via a certain button) to your team mate that tells him that you would like to unite with him/her. If your team mate confirms the request the vehicles unite.
What was separated would now become one, what would mean you achieve double the strength (power and resistance) but in exchange for agility.
The new vehicle (Gemini) would now be controlled by a pilot, who solely pilots the vehicle, and a gunner, who solely operates the weapon: a powerful Sentinel Beam.
To prevent that the positions of pilot and gunner get distributed randomly, the player who controlled Castor would always become the pilot while the player who controlled Pollux would always become the gunner (that’s why the slight differences in aesthetics).
The players would also be able to separate through the request and confirm system again but only to a certain degree of taken damage. The received damage on Gemini would get split equally on Castor and Pullux after separation.

Differences in aesthetics: Castor blue lights, Pollux orange lights
United form Gemini: white lights, bright golden Sentinel Beam

A handheld weapon that utilizes Gauss technology. It could look like a beefier sniper rifle and you couldn’t sprint with it but you still are in first person POV. It has a small area of effect and the same projectile speed as that of the Gauss hog but it has a 3x zoom capability. It’s a one shot kill anywhere above the waist, anywhere below the waist it makes the victim lose all their shields and if it hits close to an enemy it will drain a slight amount of their shields (depending on how close the explosion was)

I recently came up with a gametype that involves tagging, but I already made athread about it.

Covenant Ghoul- a wraith-sized siege weapon built by the Covenant Remnant. It uses a Wraith style heavy base, but the plasma mortar is replaced by a man-cannon. The rear slopes upward to allow maximum
Acceleration for the Man cannon. The pilot seat is under the man cannon’s front. A loader is required to sit in the rear seat, to the bottom left of the man cannon. He fires the weapon which is Needle “Rock” chunks. Large purple-pink chunks of Needler ammo that detonate on impact with the power of a massive super-combine. This siege platform also allow for anyone to jump on and use the man cannon. This tactic could be beneficial for attacking bases.
The "gunner"seat is very exposed, and if someone shot the needle chunk before it left the man cannon, it could destroy the vehicle.
