I have never played a game that’s been out for so long that crashes this much… I have thousands of hours logged on the Xbox version; I really do think this game could’ve been awesome, and it is, sometimes. At this point, I give up on it every now and then. Whether it’s for a week, a few days, or a month. This game pushes the player away constantly.
Direct Air in terminus firefight. Heavy Air two waves in a row in Firefight. Tech 2 Spartans outclassing & obliterating everything at wave 5 who also get Battle Hardened II.
And then, the crashes. The press (x) crash in-game, the menu transitions locking up, the disconnected players during loading screens, the loading screens that take 10 minutes but you get into a match that’s empty. Your teammates crashing 20 minutes into an awesome game, which is already rare enough with all the quitters in the game.
Or, how about getting paired with level 10 & 5 teammates against fully stacked teams of 3 and getting stomped 15 games in a row on Team War. I’m not asking for fully fledged SBMM or anything but holy -Yoink-. It gets. Old.
In general, I find this game so -Yoinking!- disappointing. It’s so unreal to me. I don’t know how this many glaring issues are still in the game, left untouched, unfixed, for this long. Isn’t this game like, 4 years old? Just! How! It blows me away
