The Covenant, The Arbiter, and Halo 4.

Now that it is confirmed that the covenant are returning, I couldn’t help but think of how the Arbiter can fit into this picture. Yet I know that he, and other Elites have broken away.

The Arbiter is among the most interesting, emotional, and awesome characters in the entire universe. It would be too bad for his relevance to the franchise be over with just the two games he was in.

I have ordered Glasslands, to see the events that lead up to Halo 4, but mainly because I want to see the Abiter’s, and and his followers states in the post war era.

For those of you who have finished the book, can you let me know without any major spoilers, if the Arbiter can canonically be included somehow, someway in Halo 4? A yes or no answer accompanied by a “very likely” or something similar would be great. Also, lets see how you guys feel about this character and his involvement in the second trilogy.

Eventually in the trilogy, they will end up bringing the Arbiter back for the sake of a returning cast. Which I’m all for.

I can see the legendary ending including the Arbiter. Haha damn that would be awesome.

The Arbiter is making a comeback. He’s been confirmed by 343

So far that has been in the books.

The arbiter can not simply disappear.

The Arbiter is too much of a bad -Yoink- to simply be gone

the covanet is not returning have you unlocked the lengendary ending cortana said the unsc won the war halo 4 is going to have forunners the covanet isn’t showing up in halo 4

you read the bulletin lately?

I would love to see The Arbiter in his own side story like in a campaign DLC or even a spin-off like ODST. I agree he is an awesome character.

no i never read the bullitin

I’m kind of a noob here so where are news bulletins in which you speak…

I think that he def has a place in the new trilogy, but i doubt he will be in halo 4. It is possible though.

Wrong they are in Halo 4 for sure. They aren’t the main enemy.

frank o’connor said halo 4 wont take after the books too much but im not sure in what sense he exactly means

I hope to have the Arbiter in Halo 4! He’s my favorite character. I also hope the Elites are playable like they were in Halo 3, Reach’s lack of support for Elites is disappointing.

One word: Unggoy!

I bet we can expect old “Arby” to return in some form, he’s been a part of these series for so long it would feel empty without him, just like a game without Johnson…wait a minute?!
(pun intended)
Covenant will be present and I bet they’ll either get some info from arby or at least mention him somehow. Maybe we’ll play as covenants as well in Halo 5, just as in Halo 2?

In halo glass lands the sangheili split into two groups, one of them was still allied with humans and led by Arby. The other still beleived in the Covanants religon, so they are probably the rouge covanant that you fight. I also hope the Shipmaster returns too because he was awesome.

thats because Reach took place before the great schism and before the elites were allied with humanity
