I liked it when they had more armour and less skin. They seems friendlier in the older Halo’s but I guess that was the point… Does this mean that if we somehow see the Arbiter he’s gonna be ugly like these guys? That would suck.
The only thing that bugs me is that the Grunts aren’t wearing face masks.
And Grunts can only breathe methane.

looks like a combo of the covies in 3 and reach. I’m down with that, and of course the awesome graphics help

Nah I would say the Arbiter and his Warriors would still wear the good stuff. The general consensus seems to be that the group seen in Halo 4 is more like a group of Marauders and therefor they’re using whatever they can get their hands on.
I love the Grunts new look. It finally looks scaly.
They way the stripped their armor made them look like some Savage / Rogue Covenant. A nice little twist if you ask me.
I think they look alright, I’m not really too keen on the Grunt’s new look though… I mean, yeah, it’s good, but it isn’t very iconic to me anymore.
The red Elite model which I think could be SpecOps looks pretty cool, but I dislike the lack of armor on the blue Elite.
They look awesome, not to mention kinda creepy.

Yes, the Elites look absoluetly great. But the Grunts… they barely look like Grunts anymore. Personally, I don’t like their new look at all. They look too ugly even though they’re supposed to be comical. There also happens to be numerous problems with the model considering what we know about the physiology of Grunts. I wouldn’t mind if they made a complete redesign for the Grunt model and made something like a higher fidelity model of the Reach Grunts.
