Notice: This is my FIRST offical clan. So it may not be original nor intelligent.
I am starting a clan called ‘The Covenant Empire’ fully dedicated to the Covenant. We will be playing Halo: Reach on several custom games in which we play as Elites. We will also be playing “Firefight Versus” and games.
Before I begin telling you what we are going to do, here is the minimum requirements to join this clan.
You must ALWAYS be playing as an elite: If you’re in this clan and you are in one of my tournaments or matches, then you are expected to be an elite. The only exception is if we’re playing Firefight Versus.
You must be at least 10 years old to join this clan: Nobody under 10 may be permitted to join this clan. This isn’t because I don’t trust you, it’s because we may be doing stuff that we may find inappropriate for anyone under 10.
This following requirement is not required, but is desired.
A mic is prefered: We do allow no-mics in my tournament. But you still must follow all directions given to other players with mics.
Now, what we will be doing is that we will be meeting about once or twice a week to play a quick tournament. The tournament requires that EVERYONE be on the elites team. We will be playing CTF, Free for All, Slayer, Assault, and other stuff. Once in a while, we will be playing Firefight Versus where two people will be on the spartan team and the other two is on the elites team.

An even better question is why does a group state you must be 10 or older, when Halo is rated by the ESRB as mature?
If you’re younger than 17 and playing Halo you are the wrong answer.
To the “founder” of the “Covenant Empire” you do realize under federal and international copyright law you CANNOT copyright the IP of another copyright holder, correct? You say you hold the copyright for “Covenant Empire”? ORLY? Who is your copyright attorney and what federal court did you do this copyright through?
I am a huge fan of Halo, and I respect what Microsoft, Bungie, and 343 Industries does for the Halo universe.
The fact of the matter is that Microsoft Incorporated owns the rights to ALL things Halo and we only do what we do with their permission.
So it is absolutley IMPOSSIBLE for you to own a copyright to “The Covenant Empire” when MICROSOFT INCORPORATED already owns the copyright to every single scrap of the entire Halo universe.
So you don’t need to work something out with that other group over intellectual property neither of you own, rather, you both need to make sure you are following Microsoft’s rules in using their property.
Microsoft OWNS Halo. Therefore NO ONE else can claim any right to any part of it.
You 6th graders need to talk to your parents before you try to claim ownership of something that belongs to a multi-billion dollar corporation that has it’s own full time legal staff.
