The Covenant. The faction that has conflicted humanity for decades of war seems like its long years of a multi-species inclusion will corrupt its self and crumble into a war of death. This isn’t the first time - The Grunts once contradicted the word of the prophets - Only to end in millions of losses and a lifetime burden of slavery to the covenant. But they are weak. The elites are not, the brutes are not and the hunters are not. The covenant in Halo 4 split of into many factions, the one we fought was the storm faction. We know of two: The storm faction and The Arbiters faction. There is however more, but we don’t know there names. But, what happens when they divide just two many times. What if the jackals form their own faction against the will of the covenant. They must combine with a superior race: The Humans, The Forerunners or the Flood. Then what is left of the covenant - Nearly nothing. Orphans asking to be adopted by their superiors. But then come the betrayals, the reunion of the traitors and their eternal masters.
The universe is ridden with tension. The though of trust obliterated by the backstabbing brother and so the ring must be fired.
