Make forge world actually seem like a world, not a island.
The point im trying to get to is a random world generator for forge.
It would create a map randomly and it would be the size of reach forge world
It would choose waterfalls, cliffs, forests, human/covenant/forerunner outposts and put about one of them somewhere on the map.
Rivers, streams mountains, floating islands(avatar anyone),deserts,canyons,NPC’s(animals/covenant/unsc troops),cliffs,a random skybox, swamps, forerunner tower, caves, secret door rooms, beaches, grasslands, ruins, pillars, lakes, resevoirs, snow, and just about lots of other stuff and would randomlly spawn them in locations, inverting them or changing the textures and weather(snow, sunny, deserty, nightime, shooting stars, the moons, planets in the background)to create a new forging experience every time you load.
By saving you would keep that map and the terrain it generated.
Npc’s such as covenant infantry, tanks, banshees would spawn arounds outposts, same with humans, and if you want you can change there outposts npc’s to flee, fight against or for you, and if a outpost of another group is by, also fight.
Don’t want them around? Delete there outpost and they’le be gone.
Want em back? Spawn a outpost where ever you want.
Animals would run free attacking others to eat or just lingering around eating grass or swinging though trees(space monkeys?) they will also be deleteable and spawnable, birds, dinosaur thingys, aliens, fish, space sharks, eagles, bats in caves, a living breathing enviroment.
Most of the idea comes from people compaining about grey terrain and ugly grey maps.
343i want to make the universe be as vivid and cool as possible, trying to show what its like on that planet just over there.
And random forge generation would make it possible
I know halo 4 is nearly done by now, but what about halo 5?
(terrain generation woulden’t be stupidly random, no outposts or floating islands directly above another)
