The constant delays dissapoint me greatly

When the game released, 343 told us that coop campaign was coming 3 months later, and forge 6 months later. Where we are now, I was finally getting some sort of excitement to play the game again, and then of course, 343 delays coop again cuz it wasn’t ready for the “target” deadline.

So, what’s the point? What’s the point of putting out these release dates for popular modes and features, if you’re just gonna keep telling us “sorry, that wasn’t the REAL date, wait longer.” I keep getting fooled. There’s no point in being excited if they’re just gonna keep delaying this stuff over and over again. And look, I know that delaying stuff allows things to be fixed. This post was made just to express my annoyance and dissapointment. Yeah, they keep adding in new armors and battle pass customization, but stuff like maps, coop, and forge, y’know, big stuff, keeps getting delayed to infinity. They make all these trailers and news updates for things like a new armor set, like it’s some big deal, but I think it’s safe to say that things like coop and forge should be TOP priority, because those things are what we’re all excited for, right?

I can’t keep waiting for this game, hoping to eventually play what I want, only to always get told it’s pushed back another 6 months.

Ahem, this game is called Halo INFINITE. I guess we know why now. The wait time to actually play the game is infinite.

While I fully understand that project dates can slip, and more often than not they do, but it’s a far too regular occurrence now.

I’m still loving the gameplay but content rollout is the biggest issue with Infinite. Makes me wonder what the team were up to before Staten returned.

343 really feels like a small dev trying to make AAA titles, even though 343 is made up of lots of employees and has MS money. I’ll bet you that by the fourth or fifth anniversary Infinite will be in a very solid state, but the question is will the game still be alive by then. 343 needs some kind of shake-up. When they do finally get their games into a complete state, they’re good. (Halo 5’s MP experience was really good after several content updates) They clearly have decent talent in the studio. But something is obviously wrong and needs to be addressed if Microsoft doesn’t want Halo to die.
