After reading alot of topics saying the the most likely foe is the didact, but what about his right hand man and best friend The Confirmer, that would help with the theroy of why the didact symbol is turned upside down.
another point would be that the Confirmer Prefered the San Shyum and since the Master Chief had just killed 2 high ranking ones maybe he found out of this some how and wanted revenge!!
