The Composer (THEORY)

As we all know from the Terminal videos from Halo 4, The Composer has the ability to compose living tissue into data and reincarnate it into, what I call “digitized tissue” and is also stated or hinted that data can be turned into “digitized tissue” as Cortana was, allowing her to fondle the Chief’s chest-plate.

Question now is, if the portal under the Didact in the final mission was indeed sending all composed beings back to Requiem, or to the artifact recovered by Infinity (which they kept) is it slightly possible that a small fragment of Cortana and all the Humans composed during the New Phoenix incident, be trapped within the artifact since when it first reacted Thorne noticed the images being projected were that of New Phoenix, meaning everyone composed at that time either passed throught the artifact or are temporarily or permanentely stored in it?

Cortana was able to touch the Chief because she made a body for herself using the same hardlight she’d used to save John.

Now, in Spartan Ops the “Promethean Soul” showed many images of New Pheonix, and one of the translocation artefact that sent Glassman and Thorne to Requiem’s surface, indicating that the artefact, or one like it, was present during the Didact’s attack. To me, this would suggest that the artefact is what sent things to Requiem while the Slipspace rupture simply powered the composer.

I’m not sure if it’s been stated whether the soul is of a single victim of the Composer, or many people, however, Cortana is immune to the Composer’s effect as she is data.

Makes sense,I just wonder what will humanity do with the artifact as we don’t know its true function.
