After the first week where (I suck make game easier) complainers overwhelmed the forums or all of eternity on the bungie forums.
This forum seems to have fair ammount of common sense.
People flaming MLG for existing are getting put down as they should.
People griefing about the DMR or the BR in Swat are getting put down as the should.
Almost no one is asking for the game to revolve around the AR…
People are actually talking about and complaining about actual problems. Even if it is a concern of the Custom community/MLG people are going ya I don’t mind but it should be an option at least.
They are complaining about Problems with the map exploits, Forge options, Custom Game options, Buffing some underpowered abilities instead of trying to nerf everything else.
Basically complaining about actual problems instead of crying because the game is to MLG because you spawn with DMRs in BTB instead of ARs… Seriously people used to complain about that.
Thank you community. We hibernated for Reach and seem to have come out smarter.
I’m not sure why you’re equating not complaining to a smarter community. The game still has a myriad of issues, but they’re minor.
It’s just that Halo 4 is an all around better game than Reach and you don’t see as much complaining as a result.
The idiots who complain about BS stuff have already left for CoD. That’s why most of the baseless complaints are decreasing.

That would explain why it is better than it was even durring halo 3.

I wouldn’t go as far as to say smarter. I’d say less dumb.

first off they went to the better game. second it would explain why this game is pretty much dead.

Really. I have never spent a single penny on COD so not sure how you qualify it as the better game. Maybe better marketing and a more consistent game play through the franchise. kinda hard to sell a game when people don’t trust what they are going to get anymore. Every game in the franchise has been Wildly different. They had a solid vision in HCE they just needed to mold and expand on it but the kept trying to revolutionize again which isn’t good for the player base.

You know me so well.
The community is rediscovering things we did in ce/2/3 thinking they are new ideas.
I say not really smarter. It took 10 years to get the game types we had in 3/reach. And most of those didn’t have the option as a selection. We had to do with other game type options.
Why do we want the same thing over and over? That has been Halo since CE and a change was needed. The made the changes they did and now people hate 343 for it. If you want a copy and paste game go play COD. I played BO2 and found it to be the same COD I played years ago with WAW and MW2. I will never understand the COD hype that Halo deserves. 343 did a great job on this game and me and my friends love it!!!
