why should we be patient? we constantly warned them about these problems way before release and they told us everything will be perfect because they know what they’re doing.
they didn’t listen, they’re paying the price, we shouldn’t have to be patient after they promised and practically guaranteed everything will be perfect.

IDK but you’re right. The community’s been bashing on 343 too much. So to all that are crying, hold your B!TC#ing until the game’s at least 3 months old and if the game still sucks.
Fact: Halo 4 is a fun game with an excellent campaign and exciting multiplayer.

Also Fact: 343 shows that their weakness lies in their inability to communicate with, reward, and manage their fanbase and gamer community. While they did make a quality game, this is the other half of producing longevity for a title.
Hey. OP. Their first real game, yes. But it’s HALO. Not a first of a franchise. Invalid post. They bit off more than they can chew imho. Not happy with 343 at all.
There is no excuse for releasing a AAA title like Halo when it is so obviously incomplete and not thoroughly tested and tweaked.
It might be 343is first game, but it it is not the first game for any of the major players who work there. They buckled to the demands of microsoft to get the game out before Blops and the Christmas rush, which resulted in a games potential being destroyed for the sakes of making money.
Put it this way; Would you prefer to have waited another 6 months or even ONE month for 343i to fix things? I would. I’d rather wait and have 343i get the game done right rather than be impatient.
Starting to see why Bungie wanted out.

I find it funny the people bashing it by saying “it’s unskillful” “call of duty copy!”
The reason I’m not liking it is because it’s just plain boring, the people complaining on a competitive side of things need to just shut up because they’re way of complaining is soo repeitive, although there needs to be something added as the longevity of the multiplayer is crap.
It’s just boring, i haven’t played more than 1 game online within a month.
I’m bashing 343 because I want them to do something new, i don’t want to play the same game again, that i’ve already been playing for 7 years…

I’ll give them some more time before completely losing hope in them, but they did say File Share would be up in December, time is ticking.
Maybe if 343 backed up their statements and communicated with their community once in a while the confusion would die down making things better.
They released an incomplete game.

Well, I think they can handle it. They’re big kids.
Criticism is fine. Some of the things people say are inappropriate and unnecessary. Sure useful to identify the people you want to ignore. however.
343i deserves a major bashing, at least to an extent.
IMO, they did a good job with the campaign and for the most part with multiplayer. It’s a new experience and the multiplayer is pretty balanced, with a few exceptions.
But they make too many promises, not to mention a number of blatant lies. All armor unlockable? NOPE. All popular game types kept in-game (specifically custom games)? NUH-UH. Are they reliable with their info and to be trusted when they release content to gamers (specifically the specialization codes)? IS THAT A JOKE?
But the worst part is that they do not listen to their community. I’m relatively new to posting on the waypoint forums, but I’ve read them for a long time. And I can tell you, Bungie was all about listening to the demands of the gaming community. They LISTENED.
But 343 only selectively listens. A question was asked to them in a recent interview about Custom Games, and they didn’t have any idea what the interviewer was talking about. They can’t even recognize the biggest issue on the forums!
Ultimately, I think 343i just needs some sense knocked into them before they decide to stop trying to be “new” with everything, and instead listen to the community AT LEAST a little bit.

This game does a terrible job at pleasing MANY people.

I’m gonna be honest with you. There’s NO reason for us to be patient. We bought a 60 dollar game that’s far from being compleated. It’s just a hugh let down and by the time they fix (if they fix) all those problems the majority of the Halo players are not going to be playing the game.
They got our money, they are working on Halo 5 and fixing Halo 4 really slow.
We are the ones that payed for the game and we are the ones who are suppose to be playing the game. Give the community what they want. Is it really that hard to understand?
The community also bashed Bungie for Halo 2 and Halo 3 when they came out. Let them Yoink about it, the majority will quiet down when the game gets its playlist, problems, and weapons/vehicles fixed.
Like someone else said, Halo has been around for a long time. If 343 felt like they could not handle the responsibility that comes with taking over the Halo franchise then they should have turned the offer down. But no instead they decided to let most of us down and ruin many parts of HALO.
Obviously you want rumble pit. WHY was rumble pit not in Halo 4 from the start? It is arguably the most classic Halo playlist of all time. How hard is it to make a NORMAL FFA playlist?
Quit making excuses for 343 and “Halo” 4
They did the same thing to Bungie, the Halo fanbase is a sour, puckered old man that’s never, EVER happy.
Anything happens that they don’t like, they shake their fists in anger and ramble on about “back when I was a your age Halo was GREAT” when in fact the old Bungie games they love were just as flawed.
I think they all just held 343 to such high standards that they let themselves down when it was just another mortal man’s Halo game. I know that they expected Halo 3 anniversary but it’s not what they got.
