Are similar to COD or more are exactly like the commendations in COD. While I don’t mind this, because the more skill you have with weapons and vehicles, the faster your commendations will go up and you are rewarded XP at the end. I’m not happy about the fact that this commendation system is an exacty copy and paste.
Yes, I know the commendations in Reach were for weapons and stuff. The commendations in Halo 4 are for each weapon, vehicle and gametype and enemy in Halo 4.
What do you guys think about this? Should they have kept the commendations the same as they were in Reach?
I don’t see why not. The commendations in Reach were easy to get, if you had skill. Just because something is carried over from Reach doesn’t mean it’s automatically a bad feature.
i like it because it will be something to work towards and make me have to use EVERY weapon at some point. I see it as a challenge that is more in depth then reach had.
it’s also used as a mean to unlock armour. more reason for completion then.
I think its fine. I dont know why people say they copied other games. The gaming industry is like that, if there is something out there that you can add to the game to make it better, why not? Companies constantly take things from other games and tweak them to make them their own, its how games evolve and become better. I like the comendations too cause they unlock armor and visors and stuff so you can be a lower level and still have something a higher level may not have. I like it when unlocks arent based only on level.
