That gun is so addictnig that when I’m carrying both a BR and a Commando Rifle I am favoring the Commando Rifle. I was in between games big league and just had to post this, who else loves the weapon?

I just mentioned this in a different topic, but I’ve always used the Commando. It’s a piece of garbage if you hold fire, unless you’re in close range, since the recoil makes it aim up, but if you tap fire, especially while scoped in, it’s surprisingly super good at headshots, and even shooting across the map in BTB
It gets a lot of hate, but that’s people just using it wrong, like most other weapons. If you use them right, every weapons is good

Definitely.
Minimising the vertical recoil is the key.
It feels more like an older DMR - especially now it’s more reliable at distance than the BR.

Did they buff it? Or am I just getting better results with it since switching inputs after the mkb buff?
Did they finally bring it back to the state it was in the Beta?
Never understood why they neutered one of the best new additions to the weapon sandbox shortly before release…

Yes, long range, pulse shot, it is deadly. Short range, shoot until shield pop, then switch to head shot. I love the Commando.

Idk. But I was super disappointed by that as well. I expected to have a new “go to” gun, but when the full game dropped they just buried it.
What’s sad is that it wasnt even that imbalanced in the beta. It was just a high discipline-high reward precision weapon. The BR would have still had it’s role amongst players who desired a weapon with slightly lower maintenance and a higher zoom optic.

It’s garbage IMO, the absolute worst gun to control on console, feels desynced when fired fully auto, small clip size, dunno what they’ve done to it because during the beta it was such a beast of a gun, now it’s just a shadow of its former self. I prefer to rely on the AR+pistol combo honestly, much more consistent on either close and long range, especially when it comes controls.
I’m not a fan of how they “buffed” it. It just feels way too sticky. I would prefer it’s aim assist values to be where the BR is now, which feels better to me.
Also, if they’re not going to get rid of bloom 
I’d like to see the mag increased at least to 25.

I do like the way they made the Commando rifle in its current state. Its a very skill intensive weapon, which I can appreciate since it punishes spamming shots, but rewards those who actively aims and controls their trigger finger.
