"The code execution cannot proceed because arbiter.dll was not found Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."

Second time this has happened… Reinstalled infinite on the annoying xbox app since they don’t want gamepass users using steam for campaign annnd after playing the game for a day then turning off my pc and coming back the next day to play I’m greeted with this error;

“The code execution cannot proceed because arbiter.dll was not found Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.”

annd surprise surprise you can’t just simply ‘verify integrity of game files’ like steam can… I had to fix this last time by reinstalling the whole -yoinking- game. Did I have this issue once with steams version? nope. I also refuse to give 343/microsoft another cent so I won’t be buying campaign for steam since it should already just allow gamepass users access since it’s using our microsoft logins in game to transfer data and store purchases between xbox and pc.

If anyone knows how to fix this that’d be great.

In the process of just installing campaign to my xbox and hoping my save is in the cloud… Not really keen on playing the game in 30fps though :confused:

Not sure if this will help but maybe. I just recently found out you can check application integrity indirectly through windows. Go to application and settings. Search for Halo infinite. There should be an advanced settings option under it if you highlight or click it. And in there there is a verify or repair option. Good luck!

While you are at it you might want to run a disk check on the drive that halo is installed on (maybe even a ram check too).

I already uninstalled it but will try it out if it happens again :weary: was getting an error message about directx and apparently not having the minimum 4gb’s of ram even though my pc has 16gb’s and all its drivers updated including directx 12. Would just click ok and the game would boot up and run fine with the occasional crash

Wait the arbiter is in the game?

It’s not related to the character sadly, just a file necessary for the game to run which will randomly break if you’re playing it through the xbox app on your pc. The steam version doesn’t have this issue

I’ve reinstalled the game and tried the repair but nothings worked.

Reinstalling fixes it for me temporarily but then it’ll do it again in the next day or two… restarting my pc also occasionally fixes it.

I’ve finished the campaign now though so I’m back on steams version which doesn’t have this issue. The xbox app is just garbage.

I’ve had this issue a couple of times now.
It always happens after a game crash. (viewing someone’s gamercard on PC would crash my game)
although reinstalling fixes it, that shouldn’t be the solution. it needs to be fixed

Damn… I want the Arbiter lol. He’s one of my favorite characters in the franchise…
