We are a clan like no other. Our goal was not to be the best clan, but the most unique. We are The Cobras.
The Cobras Clan (TCC) was founded June 24th, 2009. Our clan has had it ups and downs, but overall our vision became a reality. TCC was the first clan in their respected Halo community to have clan meetings in game, rather than in lobbies. The Cobras has won all the “clan wars” that they have fought in and is one of the oldest clan still active on Halo.
TCC is organized as three different divisions that run in harmony and work together. Each division has a separate purpose and experience to offer a clan member, while also not forcing the clan member to do everything in the clan. The three divisions, along with their respected purposes are :
Cobra Machinima and Theater Division (Lordskull70)
This division specialized in machinima production and Cobra Theater. The Machinima and Theater Division (MTD) offers body and voice actors for young or experienced machinima makers, as well as years of experience to go with it. If you enjoy machinima and making machinima, this is the best division for you.
Cobra Military Division (Teddy304)
The Cobra Military Division (CMD) is the bronze of the clan. Members of this division are the first to be called upon whenever there is foriegn threat to the clan. If you are a part of this division, you go through different trainings that train you in different skills. Many of the trainings are focused on teamwork, as well as individual weapon/vehicle training. If you are a more competitive player and can be relatively active, this is the best division for you.
Cobra Security Division (Beserker911)
This Cobra Security Division (CSD) is the most elusive division of the clan. You can not just join the CSD, unlike the CMD and CMTD. You must first pass through certain CMD trainings and then apply for the CSD. If you are accepted, you begin your unique training as a security guard. Security Guards maintain peace and order in serious clan events, and are also called upon whenever there is a domestic/foreign threat to the clan. If you are committed to the clan and want to be the best of the best, this is the best division for you.
TCC has these divisions so TCC members don’t have to do everything in the clan. You can be in all three divisions if you want to, two divisions, but you must be in at least one. There is also a universal discipline training that every clan member must take.
There are also universal clan events that involve all three divisions, such as Game Nights and occasional universal meetings.
The requirements to join the Cobras are as listed :
- Xbox Live Gold Membership
- At least one open slot on your friendslist
- Working headset
- Online at least once a week
- The age of thirteen and up (few exceptions)
- Must not be enlisted in any other Halo clan
- Must have a copy of Halo : Reach and Halo 4
- Consistent access to the internet
- Must take the clan seriously
- At least an SR 28 on Halo 4
