The chief's armor in the next game

I had a thought. Remember the ending where the chief is taking off his armor (irrelevant: and in legendary you got to see two eyes).

So I was thinking:

What if the chief’s armor acts like the armor in Reach. I am saying we could customize the chief’s armor. They are obviously going to give him different armor so why not.

Your thoughts.

I’m more focused on MY armor
Chief can grunt orders from the Infinity for all I care.
Me, me, ME!

Eh I see where you getting at but with Reach we were Noble Six. Someone who was unknown so the customizable thing worked because we were him/her. With the Chief though it’s more like we see/live through him in the game. The Chief without the Mark Six or Seven (if they upgrade him in the next game) just ain’t the chief. It “suits”(ahaha get it?) him to much.

I think the aspect of Chief upgrading or getting anything but the classic Mk.VI that we’re used to his highly unlikely. Even though his armor has changed from game to game it’s always stated similar to the point where he is most recognizable, no matter what. That’s the way 343 Industries will most likely keep it.

Not only that, but John never seemed to be the one to want to customize his armor. And to me, personally, I think/thought that all SPARTAN-II’s had the same armor all together. 343 Industries nailed that on the nose when Halsey was being interrogated in the beginning of the game and we all saw the cut scene with her SPARTAN-II’s defending Humanity.

oh god i hope not.
My only wish for Halo 5, is that in co-op campaign, players 2, 3, and 4 play as Crimson Squad. (Meaning they get to use their multiplayer armor, and not be clones of Chief)

^^however, Forward unto Dawn didn’t keep that part consistant, which I did not like.
