I dont like FFA. I dont want to play FFA. most of my challenges are for FFA. That’s not fun, it makes me dislike you and your terrible design.
I dont like bugged challenges. Bugged challenges are bad. Many of the weapon challenges are bugged. That’s not fun, it makes me dislike you and your terrible design.
Tie the xp to just playing games and get rid of this garbage, and maybe consider why you employ the people who implemented this.
I generally dislike PvP, so past the 6 daily bot matches I have no way of earning any significant XP while enjoying it. No, I will not grind PvP for cosmetics I don’t care about. Instead, I’ll play another game. It’s strange how they got so much right in MCC, but screw up infinite XP earning opportunities. Let people play what they want to play. What happened to making video games fun?
Agreed. I actually have no idea what must have went on at 343 for this to be the progression system the game shipped with. Like DOZENS of people had to green light this system. And NOBODY was like “hey this is kinda garbage and not fun at all…” it’s so bad it’s shocking. Hopefully one day we’ll know more about why this game launched the way it did.
Are you saying I’m not allowed to enjoy playing dress up? Or that I don’t also wish for better PvE support in the form of Firefight as well as modes like Battlefront II’s co-op mode? I can’t express how great it would be to play something like the co-op in Battlefront II (2017). Halo music playing while trying to take and defend objectives from AI? All with friends? You can’t tell me that wouldn’t fit in well alongside a classic Firefight mode.
Or what about this: A PvE mode similar to battle royale, where you get ODST dropped onto a huge map and have to work with matchmade teammates to complete a random set of objectives before escaping in a Pelican. The PvE possibilities in Infinite are great.
But those things don’t exist. They exist, in a game(likely a complete game) released somewhere in your head, by a company that isn’t 343. Play dress up all you want, I could literally not care less, but the only reason to do it is for pvp. The campaign coop is going to be Cheif’s fireteam, not your random spartan. And sure, you could hope and wish 343 would put in things that were included in the base 60 dollar price of other halo games, but you’d be ignoring literally every issue everyone has with infinite
Or you could actually read why I typed and figure out I’m giving content ideas to 343 because they’ll need to offer substantial content to make a game last the planned 10 years. I’d recommend taking an actual wholistic approach when reading what people say, instead of trying to slot their words into your preconceived categorization of what other people are actually trying to do and communicate.
