If we put the CE magnum in the game it would be absolutely amazing cause the open world would pretty much allow sniping and if your gonna go up against a tougher enemy, you gotta have some decent weapons
Idk if I want it to be a regularly found weapon since it would overshadow all other mid-range weapons, but it would make for a cool Easter Egg find. One of the few things I liked about H5 was the hidden OP weapons in the campaign.

I agree it could be fun as a hunt.

That would be pretty fun, and would fit with how much you can explore in infinte so it would add incentive to look for those kind of things
That would be cool as a rare weapon of some sort, make it feel special and powerful. Wouldnt want then scattered around everywhere.
Agreed that it would be a badass easter egg. Just like old times.

Would never happen as the CE weapons are always built upon the PC version of halo, not the Xbox.Let me explain.
The Xbox version had two separate magnums-one for campaign and one for multiplayer. The campaign one was very OP and the one that people remember.The multiplayer Magnum was slightly nerfed and played differently so it would balance weapons and fit in the sandbox.
A studio call GearBox made a PC port which only used the OP campaign magnum (and other campaign weapons) in multiplayer,meaning we never used the “real” multiplayer magnum from the Xbox multiplayer sandbox.
I’d love if 343 would make an easter egg of that gun!

Ya but your talking pc port style for the magnum I’m taking the halo 5 version which is more balanced

The Halo 5 version IS built on the PC port.
Halo 5 is only more balanced as you have the ability to dodge bullets and the Halo 5’s Halo CE Magnum is in theory is more powerful as in Halo CE you took 4 headshots to kill but in Halo 5 it only takes 3 headshots.
