I have other maps that have more budget taken up than the one i want to play customs on, but when I try to load the map in customs, it freezes while loading, and i have to exit my game and restart. You cannot duplicate items without it being 400 feet high in the air relative to the item you were duplicating, even if you are looking at the side. It has already been stated, but generating lighting takes an eternity, as well as trying to place large objects, such as cliffs and chunks.
This isn’t as much as an issue as it is a personal gripe, but I also don’t like the fact that Tidal is essentially Awash from Halo 2 Anniversary. Sure it’s helpful, but damn.
I wish Tidal wasn’t only water, that is also had landmass. So my friend and I decided to give it some landmass. We forged up basically a new Forge World. It’s called Cartographer’s Island. While it’s nothing like the original Forge World, I does serve basically the same function. Cartographer’s Island, like Forge World, is perfect for just messing around in Forge and Customs.
Because we basically filled up the Lighmap and Physics meters, forging will be limited. But nevertheless it still is a great map.
