I just got done playing around 8 or 9 games of MM on Reach. Of those 8 or 9 games, I was intentionally driven over a cliff twice, shotguned by an ally for a Sniper Rifle once, sticky grenaded by an ally in a Wraith until I was destroyed and intentionally splattered with a Ghost twice.
Honestly and truly, is it any wonder gamers are looked down upon when we have -Yoinks!- like this amongst us. I only recently started playing Halo again after a long hiatus, in preparation for Halo 4. I cannot believe how bad it has become. Reaching the rank of Hero or higher is a licence to act like a -Yoink- these days, is it?
I really hope 343 take a zero tolerance approach to this type of behavior, because it is making the Halo community look shocking, even as compared to Battlefield and CoD.
Yeah the constant betrayals are annoying. Yesterday I was in Anniversary BTB, I grabbed the sniper as usual, and some guy starts shooting at me. Whatever, being the bigger man that I am I drop the sniper so he has a fair chance to show his stuff. He then immediately starts shooting our Guass hog with it. WTF? End game I went 28-3 and he went 13-13. Why even make an issue of the sniper if you can’t even use it?
You can send me a FR if you want. Before you do, know that I do not care that your KD isn’t that high, it is perfectly fine with me. I do require that the people I play with vote as I say, let me or somebody else (Who I designate) grab the sniper rifle, do not betray, and actually try to win in objective, as I am opposed to kill farming. My KD is actually what I am, not boosted in objective games like most people here.

I love the THREE guys who were standing around on Red Base waiting for it to spawn - leaving the rest of us to fight 5v8…
I’ve noticed that this has become a pretty big problem as of late, and it reminds me of why i spent about a year in the Score Attack playlist.
My friend and I have been teaming up in the Firefight (Arcade) playlist so he can work on his Firefight commendations, and the sad truth is that in 98% of the maps we play someone acts like an idiot.
If my friend occupies a Ground Mounted Turret to work on his Vehicular commendation, one of the random teammates will shoot it with a rocket to knock it off the mount causing it to have a limited amount of ammo.
If My friend and I occupy the Rocket Hog on Beachhead or Unearthed, one of the random teammates will almost always hit it with a rocket or Fuel Rod Gun, just so that no one can use it.
We have also noticed that when we hijack Wraiths in firefight, it ALWAYS gets destroyed by teammates while we are driving it around.
It’s as if people dont want you to use the vehicles effectively, or they are afraid you are going to get more points than they are, or they dont want you to succeed, or they are just being jerks.
It’s pretty ridiculous that people have to deal with this kind of stuff, and my friend and i have already made plans to switch to Firefight Doubles in order to escape being teamed up with idiots that cant leave people alone and play in some sort of decent manner.
Right now the only thing we can do is just submit player reviews and avoid the people we have already come across during these situations.

This has happened to me more and more and more over the past few months. It happened to me every single game in BTB today.
Reach’s matchmaking is a big mess, I can’t wait for Halo 4.
I really don’t know what to do. Many have recommended turning off friendly fire, but then you get the “Rocket in a Room” scenario. (You could spam rockets and not hurt allies.)
My idea was to only make vehicles and splash damage weapons be able to betray allies. Those are really the only ones you could do on accident on a regular basis.

Play BTB man then you’ll rage. Im playing of hemorage(cant spell it) and i get the wraith. So this idiot teammate starts shooting at me with his ghost until im on blue flames then he leaves. When i die i get the sniper he keeps dmr shooting me so i zoom out. He then continues to TBAG for no reason. I then start teabagging with him then i snipe him in the face and i get booted. Halo reach lately has been like this a lot maybe 9/10 of my BTB games. Matchmaking sucks.
I blame the summer, more kids and -Yoinks!- that would usually be in school or at other things now stay at home and ruin Halo for us. Lately been getting stuck with insanely dumb teammate or enemies, and its never a middle ground. Hell just today I saw someone betray for a spartan laser then immediately suck with it and get splattered by a warthog
For real man. People get so annoying with that crap that I rarely play Halo at all any more. I get killed all the time for weapons. So now I just boot anyone who betrays me. Call it unfair but u should look where u point ur gun and not just throw grenades like a noob. Dude earlier got mad cuz he sucked and started throwing nades at us and we couldnt do nothing. hopefully 343 will do better than Bungie. I think its also time to introduce customizable weapons but thats off topic
