Alright if you are here for my opinion about the campaign,it sucks.For this to be a halo game O am very disappointed in the campaign.First of all it’s SOOO SHORT!It took me about 5 hours to complete it!(On normal)My second reason is that the story SUCKS!Really,Master Chief went rouge just to find Coratana and Locke is trying to find him?That is just dumb!
It felt very empty to me really missed that epic feel I’m a huge halo fan have read all the books played all the games and I just wasn’t into it that much hope they improve for H6
it was a bit short which is unfortunate but i thought the story was great
I really don’t understand why Locke is even in this game, he is unneeded in my opinion
Everything in the Halo 5 campaign was a disappointment for me, I had no fun whatsoever

Yup, it’s too short by a mile, we got hardly any play as 117 and the story was pretty poor. I was hoping for the most immersive and biggest Halo to date.

I still really don’t mind the story at all, though I would prefer it if they hadn’t ruined Halo 4 by bringing Cortana back and uses a different villain instead. Gameplay wise this is one of the better campaigns for me, I love the level design and weapons in this game, and playing through this campaign regardless of how good the story is, is some of the best fun I’ve ever had on an FPS. Apart from the Warden battles, but they’re piss easy even on Legendary if you use incineration canon and scattershot combo
Playing on legendary for the first time really made me appreciate the campaign more, resulting in my unpopular opinion of actually enjoying it.
It took me 12 hours to complete in the first week the game came out.
A little late buddy, but I’m glad to see new players joining the Halo 5 population! Yeah, the Campaign story was a joke, I personally haven’t touched that abomination since I first played it.

Don’t forget that all the trailers advertised that the Chief is a traitor and against the UNSC, but in the game he is AWOL (Absent without Leave) which basically means he just never showed up for work.
Also so it is never properly explained how Cortana survived. The Chief said the Didact’s ship was teleported into Slipspace, however the Didact fell into the portal after the Chief stuck a Splinter Grenade to him, then detonate a Nuclear Warhead. With such close proximity to the portal the blast would destroy the power source thus shutting down the portal as well the blast would destroy or EMP anything that would have gone towards the portal.

A great deal of the characters in this game are seat fillers. In other words if they where taken out the plot wouldn’t change in anyway.

Yeah it’s a bit -Yoink-. Gladly I don’t ever have to play it again, as I got all the achievements.

The story was terrible for me but I actually enjoyed the fighting. Lots of big encounters and many vehicle based levels with somewhat cool level design

Your opinion is duly noted however the campaign has been hashed to pieces and beaten with a dead horse repeatedly. Your post offers very little by way of constructive discussion to be had and is more of a blog-like post.
