The Campaign is mostly on 'Forward Unto Dawn'

End of Third Paragraph.

How does this work out then? He says most of the campaign plays out on Forward Unto Dawn. That’s kind of wierd tbh.

> How does this work out then?

I’ll tell you how that works out good sir, the article was written by a Blundering Idiot

…Seriously if this is the first we’ve heard of this quote, I’d imagine it’s just plain bloody wrong…

It is a trilogy. They want to save most of the spectacle for the second and third act?

We already know that the ship crashes at the beginning of the game, probably in the first mission - I highly doubt you will see it that much unless you need to use a reactor inside it or something to blow up the shield world at the end of the game

Sounds like a moron wrote that…and maybe while your crashing cortana will tell you to pilot a pelican out of the FUD, that would be epic.

The article is talking about “forever unto dawn” -clearly a class of spaceship in between forward and infinity…

I doubt it will be the whole game, maybe just the first (maybe the second) level. Anyway when it comes to the campaign don’t listen to anyone but 343, because they are the only ones that knows how it plays out.

Edit: Ok I just read the article, and it seems frank did say it would be most of the game :P, anyway just wait and see how it plays out. I’m guessing it’s going to be 50/50.

the halo gods have spoken! the game will mostly take place on the “forever unto dawn”!

“The original Halo was a shooter with sparse story, and the story progressed to a far greater level of importance in Reach.”

Obvious heap of BS is obvious.

It was already stated that after you are boarded in the beginning, MC and Cortana have no choice but to evacuate onto Requiem.

If most of Halo 4 takes place on a boring human made ship, I will be so effin pissed. I want most of the campaign to be alien. Very, very alien.

How can you listen to someone that can’t even get the name of the ship right.

> If most of Halo 4 takes place on a boring human made ship, I will be so effin pissed. I want most of the campaign to be alien. Very, very alien.

If 343i’s actual interviews (as opposed to the bunch of crap in the linked article) are anything to go by, it will be.

Didn’t 343 say something about Master Chief coming back to the FUD for supplies?

Also, why does this remind me of Alien? You don’t suppose the author of the article is confusing Halo with Alien?

Obvious truth is obvious. Every Halo game seemed to boil down to “Oh no, the Covvies are attacking, Chief, do what it takes to stop them. OH NO! The flood surprised us! Chief, set off a large explosion to set things right!”

“The original Halo was a shooter with sparse story, and the story progressed to a far greater level of importance in Reach.”

CE had a “sparse story?” No.

And they didn’t even get the name of the ship right. “Forever Unto Dawn?”

I doubt this is correct. Seems like it was written by someone who has no idea what they’re talking about.

343 has already said that the campaign is focused on the same mystery that CE had. We couldn’t have that in a human ship. And we’ve already seen quite a bit of concept art for Requiem anyway.

Well, clearly you know nothing.

I think I remember 343 saying that only the first mission is on the UNSC ship. They decided to start players in a familiar location with familiar enemies (the covenant) in order to ease players into the game before throwing them into Requiem.

Not sure where I read this, GI article maybe?
