The bungie medals were so colorful and vibrant.
I loved seeing an animation of the medal every time I get it, and it comes to the right of the screen (why can’t we do this in halo 5?). Like the sniper medal, (there was no medal for a sniper kill in halo 3), where it would pop in and rotate, it was pretty cool and satisfying.
And the announcer, in halo 3 was perfect. He wasn’t OVER THE TOP, and he wasn’t boring.
In halo 3, when you start the game,
“Slayerr”
It gave you that feeling, to kick in! AND DON’T GET ME STARTED ON HOW DUMB HE SOUNDS TO!
Jeff steitzer sounds really dumb when he says certain medals.
But it sounds good when he calls out, how much time is left, how much kills to win, “Half way to victory”
All those are good, but things like SSSSSSSSSNIPLETANEOUS! Is kinda weird

The announcer never says that in Halo 5. In every Slayer-Based gametype, he just says ‘Slayer’.

Gotta say, I think Bungie absolutely nailed the medals in Reach. If they just replaced the medals in 5 or 6 with the Reach ones, I would be happy.
