The Bungie Logo Needs To Be In CEA

This let me know I was going to play an epic game. It needs to stay in the the anniversary.

Since Bungie were the original creators, and 343i remastered it, it makes sense that both logos will be included in CEA.

Nope. It’s now 343’s franchise. I don’t want to see Bungie’s face in any Halo game anymore. They can still stay at their soul owners Moneyvision.

You know you bring up an interesting point. I’ll be curious to see how it’s handled. I bet the Bungie logo will be a lot more low key now though.

Can they even put the logo in? Since they don’t own the name they shouldn’t be able to. Its like the issue with the marithon symbol. They don’t own it and have to replace it with something different.

Yeah, I don’t know. I would assume Bungie’s name would at the very least be in the credits somewhere.

Yah I can see this like a special dedication at the end of the credits.

agreed

bungie is the baker that baked halo to perfection but then left it out to get cold and stale.

but seriously the bungie logo should be in there somewhere.

Does anyone know if do I have to pre-order halo combat evolved anniversary to get the bonuses?

what i meant to say is does anyone know if i have to pre order it somewhere specific like game stop

> Does anyone know if do I have to pre-order halo combat evolved anniversary to get the bonuses?

Do you have to preorder Halo CEA to get the preorder bonuses? My magic 8 ball is pointing to yes! And why wouldn’t you want to put $5 down on such a marvelous game anyways?

And from what I recall, GameStop & Amazon have the bonuses available to them.

And as far as the logo goes, I really hope it’s there. But I won’t be surprised if it isn’t. Halo isn’t Bungie’s IP anymore. This is now a Microsoft only endeavor. There might be a special “Thanks to all the guys and gals at Bungie,” but I would imagine that would be the most we get.

Of course, they’re pre order bonuses. And this is the wrong topic for that.

Anyways, I hope the Bungie logo appears somewhere, and they are referenced in the credits, after all, they did make the original game. Even Halo Wars gave thanks to Bungie, if I recall correctly.

It won’t be there. Not because 343i want to be mean to Bungie, but for legal reasons. You just can’t go and use other company’s logo unless you get some kind of special permission. I would like to see it, but I know I won’t. I just hope we get a new 343i logo with the same music. Or in a worst case scenario a black screen with the music, as long as I get to hear the music.

In no way did Bungie betray its fans. They delieved on what they promised, and made the game they wanted to make. Its not their fault most of the vocal community is online complaining, while the majority is off having fun playing Reach on their XBoxes. I find it ironic that so many people are saying how much they love 3 now that Reach is out, when all they did back in 2007 is complain. The complainers will always have something to complain about, while most of the fans just sit back and wait for the next installment.

That being said, Bungie deserves just as much credit as 343i for Anniversary. After all, Bungie spent years building the game from scratch. Were it not for Bungie, there would be no Anniversary edition, let alone a Halo series at all.

I’m pretty sure due to rights, Bungie’s name will never be in anything Halo related again, whether they made the original or not.

343i/Microsoft own the Halo franchise including Halo: Ce, but Bungie did make CE. And the original CE is in Anniversary so yes the Bungie logo should be in the game’s opening credits (before the main menu.) and on the box art. The logo should be there since the original graphics version is their game (as far as development.)

Legally they can’t. In the credits they can put a special dedication. But the game no longer belongs to Bungie and Microsoft no longer owns the Bungie name.

I understand that but Micorosoft is essentially shipping out a game that includes a game developed by another company. It would make sense to put that company’s name in it.

Am I the only one that always skips that part?
