The bubble shield!

I love Halo 5 Just the way it is, However there would be some things i would have wished they brought along from past halos.
The bubble shield for example I believe is a must!!!
a version like reach’s Could be a sort of a variety to the type of bubble shields there would be.
i remember how badass you were if you Just saw a rocket heading towards you and you would deploy the shield To stop it. Good times indeed.
It shouldnt just be the bubble shield to come back though, Gadgets such as the jetpack could be useful in Halo, but that is another topic to touch on some other time.
give me your thoughts!

Ahhh…the 'Ol Jet Pack. Or as I use to like calling it: Spartan Skeet Shooting. Pull!

There have been so many things like bubble shield and jet pack that have been introduced and then discarded during the life of this franchise that if 343 ever decided to make a spin-off PvE shared world shooter like The Division or Destiny, they’d have have a lot items that could be used as equipment/perks/abilities.

I would totally support a game like this btw, but only so long as it didn’t effect the regular Halo games.

“When you’re living in a bubble and you haven’t got a care…”

I would love to see the bubble shield, trip mine, grav lift etc come back. But forget the jet pack!

Yeah, H3 style power ups would be better than reach armor abilities, unless it’s in memories of reach.

Same, H3 power ups were the best. Nothing like storming a wall and catching the enemy by surprise with a grav lift. Bubble shield was my favorite… and flash bangs for annoying teammates.

Understandable

I miss decoys. Sooo much pleasure out of watching someone attack a fake you.

I’ve seen some pretty impressive designs on Reddit and just in random posts. If they really put their whole into it there might actually be some promise.
TBH I miss them simply for machinima usage. Having extra props on the ground was never a bad thing. Remember when a Grav Lift worked as an AI containment unit in RvB?

I feel like with halo’s busy maps, a bubble shield would make it too easy to run the flag or the ball since it’s basically an instant bullet blocking wall.

It would be really cool to have something like that again though.

Me too, the idea actually sounds pretty fantastic. Nevertheless, Halo 5 will still suffice.

Keep the jetpack in the grave we left it in

They could add the bubble shield and put it with the grenades.

A bit off topic, but as far as more PvE goes, a working file browser and forge-able AI would do the trick. There are some very talented forgers out there that could make some killer missions or even entire campaigns. The best ones get the most votes, download 'em and play 'em. Halo 5’s longevity would quintuple.

I would pay to watch someone Spartan charge straight through my decoy.

I actually liked the H3 equipment/power-ups…they were limited in use (and availability) and added an interesting tactical element to gameplay.

Halo 3 Equipment was a better idea than Armor Abilities. Mostly because Equipment added another layer of map control because they were pickup items. You had weapons, powerups, and Equipment. When they removed Equipment, the maps felt a little dry and map movement felt more sporadic.

However, a lot of Halo 3’s Equipment was overpowered. Power Drain for example. That was totally lame. If they were to bring this stuff back, they’d have to come up with some new ideas. The great thing is, Equipment is chock-full of room for anything you can think of.
