I have just finished playing halo 3 (for what must be the 100th time, love a bit of nostalgia), and realised the brute chopper was one of the greatest halo vehicles ever the brutes also gave us the brute shot weapon, a lot of random AI moments where they would shout at grunts or for no reason sticky bomb the brute next to them, may be mistaken here but i think they have the Gravity Hammer and Spiker Gun - They admittedly also gave us the Brute Prowler (The worst vehicle ever) but no giant dumb space creatures are perfect - Lets hear it for the brutes!!!

That prowler was better than the elite’s spectre. That was truly terrible.
That spiker should definitely come back, I didnt care for the brute shot, but why dont we have some sort of grenade launcher. Theres a need for one!
edit- PLASMA CASTER! I hate the regular rounds, can’t trust em. I always got to charge it up.

oh god yea i forgot about the elite spectre hahaha truly awful - and the brute shot wasn’t my favourite either but was always funny shooting a grunt with a few rounds and watching them fly lol but a new brute weapon would be awesome

i don’t think they’ll put the effort into rendering the different species this late. Unless a couple model guys were tooling around to see how the brutes would look, and saved their hobby work.

They have a brute model for Halo4,so updating it wouldent be that difficult.
The A.I could be a problem,but nothing unfixable.
I just want the brute shot back in some shape or form. I really hope brutes play a big part in Halo 6. I wanna see the Swords and Sanghelios going at it with the brutes. I doubt it will happen since the story seems to be focusing on Cortana and the Created.
We need more Covenant, period. Less Prometheans.
Actually in the recently recovered files they found the ammo style, sound, grip, and explosion effect of the brute shot recently. They also have elements for a brute sniper, the ONI and Hannibal Wasp, an anti-air wraith, etc. More so those files were found recently (i.e. recent update). It wouldn’t surprise me if they added a map with brutes on it for firefight as a Halo Wars 2 promo. I mean, Halo Wars 2 does take place around the events of Halo 5 after all.
I agree wholeheartedly! The Brute Chopper is amazing. Being able to drive around and ram other vehicles to death was one of the best feelings in Halo 3. The Brutes and their sandbox were a fantastic addition to the franchise, and it’s wonderful to see 343i bringing them back!

Don’t forget about those plasma-esque death balls it shot! That thing was a murder machine. I miss it dearly.
One of my favorite memories was driving around that ODST firefight map in the zoo (Lost Platoon I think?) with 3 friends and just seeing how long we could last in choppers. SO MUCH FUN.

Didn’t it shoot giant spikes? I figured that’s what they were, basically giant Spikers.
But yes, the Chopper on Lost Platoon was so much fun! I would do the exact same thing, except just with my brother instead of 3 friends. Good times.

I thought they fired brute shot bullet/bomb things hahaha and I loved firing a few rounds into a group of grunts/jackles and watching them do about 4 sideways flips, was amazing fun!!
Glad I’m not the only one who spent ages on ODST just abusing everything with the Brute Chopper hahaha

I read somewhere that Brute Chopper was actually Engineers (Huragok) gift to Humans but Brutes stole and modified it, I read that in Halopedia or somewhere in internet.

Now about the Brutes…
when I first played Halo 3, and tried out the Brute Chopper, I was like wtf is this crap. I’m not saying I like it now but it can be very useful since it’s an overpowered vehicle.
Actually I don’t like the Brutes and would say they deserve this…(I’m not talking about the ship, I’m talking about what it does with the planet, before you say anything :D) because they killed Humans and betrayed their former allies the Elites.
But Brutes are probably more funny to fight against than against those robot Forerunner soldiers, watchers etc.
I want the Chopper back!!!
