Aside from the ugly visual remake of the BR, Why is the BR’s sound, sounding like it is being muzzled and whimpy? It doesn’t sound deadly or powerful like it did. Please change that… thank you.

It sounds bad because they toned the sound of it down to hear conon’s voice clearer.
I think the gun looks great but the sound does need to be less plastic and more metal.

That is exactly what I thought. Rattly. It didn’t sound like the iconic Battle Rifle. Nor did it sound powerful, and no that’s not because of the audio level.
It’s because it was softened to hear Conan. They used actual gunshots during the audio testing, so I’m sure it doesn’t sound like that. Sounds like crap in that video, I know, and Frankie knows too which is why he explained it on NeoGaf. Don’t worry guys, I don’t think 343i is that dumb to make the gun sound like crap.

I really don’t want to look for proof that it was muzzled down to hear Conan. It was confirmed by Frankie on Neogaf, and you can clearly hear in the First:Look video that it wouldn’t be dumbed down that much from March 5th to this build.
