3 wardens, all of their attacks are one hit ko.
There is no cover.
Attack one 2 chase you the other snipes you as you run…
This fight isn’t possible…

This part is by far the most
Unfair.
Demeaning.
Impossible.
…fight…
I have ever seen in any game.
Can’t last 30 seconds…

It’s very possible and quite funny imo

No, it is possible. I’ve done it. Use Splinter Grenades, the Binary Rifle, and Incineration Cannon. Have your entire team equipped with Incineration Cannon, and use the Binary Rifle to weaken the Wardens. I hid off to the left of the door. There’s cover there and to the right. Quit your whining.

Beat it on legendary. On first try at that.
Is beatable

It’s been patched.
You can’t make the last jump.
Fall short every time
it’s a really easy fight, just dont fight, man cannon boost ground pound a bit done
I beat it on legendary, with no small about of anger and frustration. I think 95% of my campaign deaths are from that fight.
You can not hide.
They chase you as soon as you shoot at them.
Every attack is a one hit kill…
Halo has never needed a boss fight.
The first ones they give us have all the cheapest boss mechanics in one.
Invunerable from the front check.
All attacks kill check.
Fight it more than once without changing check.
An unavoidable attack check.
The speed run way works. You must perform it before the 3 Wardens fortify. In other words, quickly and immediately.
I was not pleased having to restart the level because of a bad checkpoint, but when I returned, I beat them, eventually. Yes, it can be frustrating doing it but it is possible.

Nevermind.
Just had to sprint a little just before jumping to make it across.
Fighting it was impossible that video saved my life.
Well not mine but my halo 5 discs.
I beat that boss battle without using that tactic, although it was on normal. Took a few tries.
I beat it heroic/solo. I stood on the lower elevated portions of those pillars in the middle and poured rounds into them. You can duck and dodge using the pillar as cover. Not doing it again though.
Here; let’s make this scenario better:
There is cover. It just isn’t great cover. The fight is doable without being bad and exploiting it :). You just have to bait one out, go broken arrow on him, split the other two up and pull something out of your -Yoink- when the turrets pop. Use your team as bait too, it helps. Once it is 1v1 vs Warden bait and switch him until he dies. Easier said than done, but possible.

Regardless of how difficult people think this boss is, something like this should never happen again in a Halo game. Halo 5 has the same boss, copied and pasted several times throughout the campaign. Not only that, but he really isn’t anything we haven’t seen before. He’s just a one-hit-killing bullet sponge we’ve seen in just about any video game. Such bosses are tedious, frustrating, and not at all satisfying.

Whoever designed the Warden Eternal should really take a look at good boss fights and really see what makes them good. Or even just look at Halo 2’s boss fights. At least those were different each time.

Exactly. Halo 2’s had the Heretic leader, the Prophet of Regret, and Brute Chieftain Tartarus. Halo 5 just has you fight Cortana’s lead cheerleader over and over.
