The easiest primary in the game, very noob friendly, good amount of magnetism and aim assist, and a guaranteed kill count with 3 bullets coming out of the gun.
Also it has no spread and has the same effective range as the DMR, adding on the bigger scopes in Warzone.
Not saying this out of anger or anything, I’ve used it a fair amount of times. Just stating a simple fact.
Yeah. A little less range would be nice. Or a lot.
Playing every Halo game, I think the BR is in its prime state right now. Just right.
But it still has to be the primary weapon for the “better” players.
BR has ALWAYS been the go to since H2
it is the gold standard.
trust me, once you start playing with or against others that can use a needler/hydra or even a storm rifle well it is a good mix of options

every game i always find another guy that strafes/shoots/dodges against me and we either trade or one wins. happens a ton in BTB

I’m pretty sure I have gotten killed in 3 shots a few times. But maybe thats a modded BR in Warzone.
The br is great but i thin they should fix it.

Teamshot is kind of hard to detect with the fast kill times. I would bet multiple people shooting at you.

i agree and wonder about that. i think the hardlight variants and the damage boost power up contributes to that
but as far as arena goes its 4 shots from full shields to dead

Halo 3 it was random and unreliable. The spread was BS. That was the not downside of halo 3. The amount of bloodshots in the head in swat is infuriating in halo 3
if any weapon should be nerfed it’s the AR it has too much range for an automatic spray weapon and takes no skill

the range is actually noticeable
say you are on basin
if you are shooting from the middle hill to either base the spread of the bullets is huge so only 1 or 2 rounds will hit and increases the TTK significantly
however mid range it shreds

You can full auto at range with an AR and not be successful, that’s why you have to tap fire it while scoped and you’ll do alot better since the spread is tight like in Reach
