The BR the ONI Spartan is holding!!!

Has a red dot holographic site not a scope.

Is that new?

Yeah probably means even more Call of Duty like gun customization.

Which is seriously not Halo.

I would like to point out that the BR in H2 and H3 have red dot sights and that H4’s BR has a HOLO.

None of these has affected game-play.

> Has a red dot holographic site not a scope.

Red dot and holographic are two different sights.

More likely, it’s just a different version of the Battle Rifle, just like Halo 3 had the BR55 and Halo 4 had the BR85. To jump to the conclusion from that poster that the game has customizable weapon attachments in loadouts a la CoD is pretty extreme.

No and no.

Haha.
I coulda swore I saw this somewhere else.

If people are afraid that Halo 5 will include ADS and weapon attachments after seeing something vaguely similar to a reflex sight in a promotional image that’s in no way indicative of the gameplay of the game, I don’t really know if I can help them.

There’s no reason, at least in my opinion, to be that paranoid.

Let’s also remember that the ODST SMG had a reflex sight on it. That reflex sight also functioned identically to a regular scope.

Well, they did add perks. They also refused to put BRs into Legendary Slayer at first because they thought ARs provided “optimal pacing.” Their track record kinda shows that they’re not very familiar with what works with Halo. I would hope they’re not that detached from Halo’s gameplay and community to add in ADS, but speaking honestly (and objectively/not as a fanboy), it wouldn’t surprise me.

AR starts are more classic then the BR…

Very similar, very recent thread right here.

(My two cents, until shown other wise, I’ll assume it’s still a click zoom like the other games and it’s just aesthetic. Plus, pre-release art.)
