I was irritated until I started using it.
I still don’t like it’s charged range.
It’s fun just use it and stop acting the chiseled hero because you want to say I killed you all with my eyes! My stare of doom!
Never give comfort to the enemy by denying yourself access to a weapon that kills and kills well, just because they say it’s noobish. Of course they’re gonna say that because their hoping they can shame you into not using it so it’s easier for them to kill you. I say boltshot these babies till mommy has to powered their bums and tuck them in bed.

Well the Boltshot is a pretty great weapon like the Mauler in Halo 3 same thing just need to charge it up and try not to miss. Why ? More complains.

I have nothing against using it when I’m on smaller maps (where vehicles aren’t an issue… otherwise I use the plasma pistol to EMP the vehicles).
My issue with it is that it’s too overpowered as a loadout weapon. I don’t think it needs to be nerfed a whole lot; I just don’t think it should be a one-shot kill if it is a loadout weapon. If you change it so that a fully-charged blast completely knocks out shields (like the plasma pistol), that would be perfect. It would still be different enough from the PP because the PP tracks and the BS doesn’t, and likewise the BS can fire single “bullets” to pick up headshots whereas the PP doesn’t. If you change it so that it takes even the slightest bit of skill in firing an overcharge followed by popping one headshot (or three body shots), I would find it to be perfectly balanced and different enough from the PP to still be relevant and useful.

Oh that is so adorable. Poor kids working so hard to earn shotty/scatter/sword/hammer on map or through PODs only to be trololololed by a my boltshot that I spawn with.

My my my, if you lot didn’t rush as much and used your grenades to flush out the campers instead of using your grenades wherever you pleased, you wouldn’t have these problems.
