In Halo Reach’s Forge a particular aspect of the Shade Turret has irked me to no avail. Why is it that you can change the base of the turret, but not the weapon itself? This is particularly frustrating with the Fuel Rod turret, as it’s supposed to be green. However, when spawned it has a clear silver base, and red/salmon turret. I can make the base green, but the turret is stuck salmon. Why? Why can’t it change the entire vehicle? It’s such a small detail compared to the game as a whole, but as someone who is very meticulous about accuracy and lore… it just pains me to look at. I know this is completely pointless, but I needed to get it out of my system.
Anyway, cheers folks.

Also Space Banshee and Anti Air Shade in Reach Forge when???
The base might be the actual vehicle and everything else a separate entity (like the Warthog turret or Wraith mortar) , that base is the one thing staying there when it is ‘destroyed’ and I do know that on 360 a direct hit with the Scorpion will remove the bubble without destroying the Shade if a player in editor is holding it.
Maybe it has somethig to do with that, a simple oversight.
I always wondered about the anti-air Shade, it has the HUD of the Warthog chaingun and 0 overheating but it can’t be about power since Falcon variants and Seraph are already enough. The turret isn’t that powerful anyway.
