The biggest problem with Halo 4. (my opinion)

First I would like to say that this is not a hate speech. It is my ideas to make Halo 4 better.

Anyways, I personally think the biggest problem isn’t the ranks, isn’t the DMR, isn’t the armor abilities and loadouts. The main problem is the bullet magnetism and the aim assist.

In the past few halos I have always been able to outshoot and out strafe my enemy. Well in Halo 4 not so much unless the other player isn’t at ALL good. 343 made it too easy to out BR someone because you cannot strafe in this game.

Honestly, what is the point of having a ranking system for a game that isn’t skill based. The Bullet magnetism and Aim assist are WAY too high! If you fix this problem I believe Halo 4 will be fun.

I don’t care about armor abilities because I could always play team throwdown. But I want to enjoy the game where it isn’t too easy. I think Halo 4 has potential to even beat halo 3 if it fixes a few problems.

I hate to admit, but I agree. Even though, i love my DMR and my Active Camo, this deal with Aim Assist, kind of screws me up.

I may not like the DMR but I think we have bigger problems such as how the game plays with the ridiculous Aim Assist and Bullet Magnetism.

Don’t get me wrong, Halo 4 is a great game but it needs fixing to be competitive again.

I strongly agree. The amount of aim assist and bullet magnetism should be reduced across the board. Also, descoping needs to be brought back.

So true. BTW, I’ve heard that the BR’s bullet magnetism is much stronger than the DMR. I was playing against someone with the BR, and i was like, “how the hell, did he kill me from god knows how far away, and he had a BR and I had a DMR”.

Yeah Descoping is another factor that will balance the game. It will be amazing to add.

very true. aim assist is necessary to a point but certain weapons have too much. DMR and beam rifle come to mind.

The Beam Rifle is getting reduced. The DMR needs a reduction as well as every other weapon.

At least it’s not like the snipers in Call of Duty. Those guns have ridiculous hitboxes/bullet magnetism. And they kill you in one shot.

Yeah, but this isn’t CoD. I bought Halo 4 for a competitive atmosphere and it wasn’t the greatest experience.

Reduce the bullet magnitism and the game will be balanced and skill based. Currently, it’s too easy to get Headshots on Halo 4.

A skilled player who knows how to aim should be able to out BR a less skilled player who shot first. To me, that is Halo.

Bring back the Skill. Bring back Halo.

DMR/Active Camo…

It’s a known fact halo 2 had high magnetism, you can see the videos for yourselves. The one thing halo 2 had less of was aim assist. If a game that has high BM but low aim assist, then the BM is less effective because the reticle can be swung around without detection much easier, making aiming much harder and so that only skilled players take advantage of the BM.

The main problem with Halo 4 is the entire Multiplayer experience. But that’s just MY opinion. Though more people are thinking the same way as me :I

No, your basing that off this section of the forums. Go to other sections of this site, they don’t talk badly about halo 4. Also don’t bring up population either because its incomplete data.

I disagree the level of aim-assist/magnetism is very similar to Halo 2 which I like.
