So what’s the better gun given I have unreal aim: Battle Rifle or DMR? I’m only asking about those two Be as long winded or short in your explanation as you’d like but don’t leave it open ended. Please answer the question if you want to help but do not direct me elsewhere if you know the answer… that’s so pathetic. thanks

Should be the BR, but its the DMR by sheer statistics. I’m waiting for a fix

The DMR has a faster fire rate, faster kill time, longer range, and the list just goes on.

The DMR is the dominant weapon in the Halo 4 sandbox right now.

DMR has fastest kill time, highest accuracy, most range, is hitscan and has the least amount of drawbacks when being used.

It shouldn’t be like that, but unfortunately it is.

So you want a good gun? DMR by a mile. Do I encourage its use? No. It’s statistically unbalanced and offers what I would consider an unfair advantage.

I find it interesting that the votes are split between Throwback and Infinity Slayer…totally shows how lopsided Halo 4 games are…Infinity Slayer=DMR and Throwback=BR oh Halo 4 how you have killed Halo

I haven’t really played Throwdown so cant comment on the difference between either gun compared to Infinity settings.

When i first started playing it was the DMR because the BR just didnt feel right compared to its H3 counterpart but recently i have been using Firepower to have the BR as my secondary and i am slowly starting to love it. I know it wont be long before the DMR it removed from my Loadout permanently.

I have also noticed my style of play has totally changed. It makes it feel more like the Halo i remember. It also makes it more satisfying when i come under attack from a DMR user and using suppress advance tactics to take him out at the BRs golden range.

I don’t believe either weapon needs changing, the only thing that needs changing it the way people approach situations.

On a side note, why does the BR have to sound so ridiculous. It hurts my ears.

On paper and out of context, the DMR hands down. In an actual match, it still favors the DMR but the BR can hold up more.

dmr but i prefer using the br simply because i love burst shot weapons.
