I personally have been having trouble battling the Knights & thought this might be a good way for members to share their ideas on what tactics they have been using to take down the new enemies. So by all means share your own ideas.
Crawlers: headshot, or if too close melee.
Watchers: auto weapon fire: assault, storm, or suppressor…and always try to take them out first.
Knights: ??? shoot them till they’re dead??
Assassinate knights. Their melee attacks leave them open to assassinations.

Knights: Assassination.
On easy- Anything that puts them down for good
On normal- Ranged weapon or shotguns, or something heavy
On heroic- Same as normal but stick to longer range, they are gonna one shot melee if you are to close
On legendary- Always have an automatic or sniper or heavy weapon, thats your best chance for survival
The Needler is the way to go. Kills them almost instantly!

Snipers are pretty much useless on Legendary, IMO. Best bet is the railgun + headshot combo and / or powerweapons (there are so many laying around if you look).
For Knights, try to face them one at a time. Attack from angles where others won’t have visual. Take up a Suppressor, empty nearly the entire clip into a Knight as you advance, then finish with a melee. They will die.

Crawlers: Treat 'em like Grunts. Great fun to go after with a magnum!
Watchers: I spam them with the Assault Rifle. Nothing much to that.
Knights: Scattergun at point blank!
From what I have seen one of the best combos, like every other Halo game is the charged plasma pistol followed up by any rifle. Its the fastest way i have seen how to kill them so far.
