No loadouts. Only cosmetics and don’t make options so quantified, make them hard to obtain by doing things in campaign or doing something crazy in multiplayer.
More variations of weapons, and have different map types associated with different weapon types placed around spawns so that there is an actual way to learn the map.
Same goes with armor abilities. Just make them like cloak and overshield from Halo 2 and 3. Simple. Map and location based. Except make them more vast and balanced.
Everyone can have sprinting but make it slower than it was in Halo 4.
Last but not least, Halo 3 Trueskill ranking. You implemented it in Halo 4 near the end but you didn’t show it in game. Thats what we want and have it similar to Halo 2 and 3 where you have to for example get to level 45 before you get Brigadier. That’s the most addicting part of multiplayer.
No “ordnance drops” that was the worst part of Halo 4 multiplayer. Make it map based not skill based. That way everyone can have a chance of getting a power weapon, or a power up or something along the lines of that.
Oh, and Halo 2 BR.
This is the kind of stuff that needs to happen to innovate on what Halo already was, don’t try to copy what other games are doing. This is just my opinion and I’m sure many will disagree, but its time to go back to basics and innovate on that instead of copying what other developers are doing.
