Just wanted to have a discussion on what would be the “best” loadout to use or what one would recommend. Ive been jumping from loadout to loadout and I want to hear the opinions of other Halo 4 pro or casual players and try to see how they play to improve my gameplay experience. Also a discussion on controller sensitivity and the uses of aim-assist would be nice.

There is no “best” loadout. You need to tweak it to your liking and learn how to play with it. I have a “Go Hard or Go Home” Loadout.
It has the following:
-Battle Rifle
-Magnum
-Frag Grenade
-Thruster Pack
-Shielding
-Explosives Perk
This is my default loadout and I enjoy using it 
For sensitivity I use 7, but I rarely snipe anyways because I like close quarter fights.
Primary: BR
Secondary: Boltshot
Armour ability: Thruster pack
Grenade: Frags
Perk 1: Resupply
Pert 2: Dexterity
I’ve seen a few Pro players use this loadout. Jet pack or Promethean vision are also good choices. If you tend to die a lot you might find grenadier to be more useful than resupply. For infinity settings requisition is a must. Ammo is also a good choice for your second perk, especially with infinity.
As for sensitivities most pro players play between 3-5. Pistola runner up in the global championship plays on 5. Don’t get in the habit of playing with sensitivities too often, just pick one a stick with it.
As for button layouts bumper jumper is objectively the best. Legit who placed 4th in the global championship uses boxer which means he press’s A to jump. So I think button layout isn’t a huge deal. Stick to what you’re comfortable with.
If you use perks, armour abilities, grenades or your primary weapon, you’re a disgusting plebian. Real men charge the enemy team with nothing but a Magnum.

Honestly, I would really recommend you use dexterity. It is indeed the greatest perk of all time.
